Sapphire Pool, located at Biscuit Basin, is a bright blue pool and considered one of the most beautiful pools in Yellowstone National Park. Following the 1959 Hebgen Lake Earthquake, Sapphire Pool erupted, blowing away biscuit-like deposits around the pool which originally gave Biscuit Basin its name.

* The architecture is real, It's Neptune Pool at Hearst Castle.
* Sky is based on actual sky at the time of this photo, but re-colored and made it more painting like.
* No water exists at the scene, at least on this side as actual pool is on the other side.

Champagne Pool is a hot spring located within the Waiotapu geothermal area in the North Island of New Zealand. The name Champagne Pool is derived from the constant efflux of carbon dioxide gas, similar to a glass of bubbling champagne. The vibrant colors come from a rich deposition of minerals and silicate. The silicate structures around the edge of the pool is teeming with microbial life.
After helping me build the pool hall in the Detective's Office, the Carpenter took a break to shoot some pool :-)
This is just a quick shot of the pool table. I wanted to take a picture while I still had easy access to that room (before all the walls were done). I extended the back walls by one layer of grey bricks, just for the photo.

Mom and dad were nice enough to dig up the yard so I can have a pool. Now I am just waiting for dad to wake-up so he can fill it up for me.
Light trails reflection in some water in an (almost) empty swimming pool. Trails created using Denis Smith made lightflutes CH48 and HH815. Connected via LPB Universal Connectors to a @ryuslightworks V2 flashlight (4th brightness, 52Hz strobe) and Thorfire TK15S flashlight (50% output) respectively. f/8, 34secs, ISO200. Post processed from RAW exposure in Skylum Luminar 1.3.0 which I'm currently trialling as a Lightroom alternative.

Champagne Pool is a prominent geothermal feature within the Waiotapu geothermal area in the North Island of New Zealand. The orange colour originates from deposits of arsenic and antimony sulfides. The name Champagne Pool is derived from the abundant efflux of carbon dioxide (CO2), similar to a glass of bubbling champagne, unfortunately not well seen in this photo due to the choppy pool surface.

The swimming pool was created in the years 1930 - 1932 according to the project of R. Gutta and A. Szniolista, and in his solemn opening, June 4, 1932, attended by the President of the Republic of Poland Ignacy Mościcki. This pool was the largest of its type in Europe, and its salinity was similar to the salinity of the Mediterranean Sea.
In 1993 the bathing area was registered in the register of monuments.
September 15, 2001, the results of the poor technical condition of the pool and too much cost of its renovation, the city authorities closed the facility.
Over the next few years, the closed swimming pool was changed several times by the owner. Even the concept of its revitalization was planned, among others. construction of the hotel and the Jordanowski Garden, however, they never came to their realization.
