Black Sand geyser basin is adjacent to myriad geothermal features in the vicinity of Old Faithful, but each and every pool, spring, mudpot, and geyser is unique, and ever-changing. Sometimes matching the feature's name (many of which were bestowed by explorers of European heritage as long ago as the late 19th century) - in this case, "emerald" - doesn't always match the 21st century character, which, in this case, is now blue. Color changes are due to temperature changes in the underground water reservoirs and "plumbing" through time.

the infinity Pool at the Marina Bay Sands Skypark.

Was there with the wife & we were fortunate to be able to get to view the pool. From what I understand, the management only aceded to the request to view the pool after 7pm.

We were part of the 1st 1000 visitors to visit the Skypark

Details of the Skypark:

The Sands SkyPark is an architectural masterpiece sitting on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay
