My mom and I watched this bird for most of the summer. It had a bad eye. I’m pretty sure it was blind in that eye. I saw it at the feeder on my back porch then a week later, we found its body in the backyard. Sadie had no problem holding it for a photo.

This horse was just hanging out by the fence as you begin the Cades Cove Loop. He’s what is called a champagne color and he’s to die for!

How can something so beautiful have thorns? It lures you in with it’s looks and scent, but to protect or maim once you touch it?
My second pack of Impossible's Generation 2.0 film is showing some of the speckling others noticed. This was shot with the exposure wheel all the way to dark.

I have to take this hallway every time it seems when visiting the local VA campus. There is something that just strikes me with the repeating patterns and how the light moves here. Can be very ominous during the evening and fall time.

If you follow me, you most likely saw the digital version of this same image. I couldn’t resist capturing it on Polaroid too. The film made it lighter and softer somehow but no less beautiful! Such a pretty spot! There’s supposed to be a waterfall on this trail somewhere but we never found it that day.

A smoky morning at our vacation house on Lake Travis in Texas. The Spicewood wildfire had been burning for over 48 hours at this point, just across the river from us, about two miles away.
A side note: I just edited 76 Polaroids to get them ready to post here. SEVENTY SIX. Good hell. Go Steph.

Looks just like an ordinary bathtub right? What if it was a boat and you could just climb in and float away? It all comes back to magic and disappearing.
I missed an opportunity here with my ghosts. I wonder if this bathtub is still floating or sunk in this area… also a more recent photo from before my beloved SLR 680 died.
