So, here's a Plaxton Pointer Dennis Dart as requested by harrycur17, with this plain white version ready to be painted into whatever livery you choose... Paint.net is recommended but I'm sure other things also work fine.
Because I decided I wanted to do things properly, I found myself a photo I'd taken of a Mini Pointer and started a whole new drawing for it, rather than doing the half-arsed method of cutting this drawing up to make a shorter version, so a MPD is on the way - watch this space!
the shot was inspired by zeissizm's hit with the same gears but taking a different perspective.
posed by Allison, my loevly daughter.
This sign is painted on the back of a glass tile. I found it wrapped up amongst Grandpa's printing equipment with other relics of the Law Stationery business and I guess it directed customers at one of their premises. Maybe he painted it himself?

Bay Link Travel of Paignton had at the time recently acquired this Pointer Dart, P262NRH. New to East Yorkshire it later saw service with Shamrock, Black Velvet and more recently Brijan. Pictured here in Torquay's Fleet Street whilst operating the weekly T2 service to Trago Mills.
The conditions weren't the best, but then they haven't been for much of November! Kinda serves me right I guess for always saying I prefer wet weather pics to dry dull ones. lol!

Transit Group may be all but forgotten in Milton Keynes but they will live on through this model. It is a resin bodyshell of the 8.5m Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer produced by Paragon Road Services to fit the shortened chassis, interior and glazing of an EFE diecast, and represents one of the many such vehicles in the Transit fleet. This one, originally DR111 (J611 DUV), was unusual in retaining its Routemaster registration WLT 946 after leaving London service.

Arriva Kent & Surrey 1606 (GN04 UCW) heads to turn around via Locke Way while on route 437 duties, while sister 1607 (GN04 UCX) approaches the stand with a 28 to Guildford.
Shortly afterwards, both buses chased each other down the High Street having set off for their respective destinations.
From 15th December 2014, route 437 will be diverted inbound to Woking via Maybury Arch and Maybury Road, to terminate at the station (thus approaching from the background, rather than the way 1606 is facing).
Oriental Road and the Community Hospital will no longer be served towards Woking, but will still be so on outbound journeys.
Pedantry corner:
Like 1629 and 1630, I note that 1606 has had its back end tweaked, and no longer carries the yellow stripe around the back (though still does the front - as does 1607).
The Broadway, Woking, Surrey.
