This was a case of perfect lighting. Although I bracketed a few stops I ended up using the first image; thank you film :).

Shot on Kodak Portra 400 with a Nikon F6 and scanned at minilab.

unlike the GX-100 i bought years ago, the GR was an unplanned upgrade, but it's been every bit as enjoyable and more. love its portability and performance as an everyday, anywhere camera.

In 2012, I caught my first glimpse of Pilot Mountain in North Carolina on the way to Myrtle Beach. It had been years since I had gone to the beach and we did not go by Pilot Mountain on the previous route. New roads have been added, which now lead us past Pilot Mountain.

Since this was the first time I had seen the mountain, I took lots of photos, including a stop at the scenic overlook. I still have to take at least one picture when I go by. I've been to Myrtle Beach two more times since 2012 - once in 2014 and once in 2015.

Identification welcome. Taken Penang, Malaysia. Seed pod (?) that appears to be part of the same tree can be seen in pic 798.

I have presented two versions of this shot. This was taken with my TZ10 pocket-zoom camera. 797 was taken with the Panasonic G2 with Vario 45-200 zoom lens. This shot presents the leaves so that they assist with identification. Artistically, I prefer pic 797 with the blurred but less recognisable background.

On her 76th birthday, my mom managed to cook up some burritos for the grandkids this afternoon.

That's what the label says.

I took an "old" photograph from mid 2010, then I retouched it using Photoshop Express application in my cellphone. Then it became such picture.

Compared to the original, now it becomes more colorful and more vibrant.
