St. Mary's bugle call and trumpeter from Krakow.
The Krakow signal bugle call, or Hejnal Mariacki, dates back to the Middle Ages when it was announcing the opening and the closing of the city gates. The bugler also played it to alarm his fellow citizens whenever he saw a fire or the enemy forces. And the melody abrupt ending is said to commemorate a trumpeter from Krakow who was shot through his throat by a Tatar archer in 1241 when the Mongols besieged the city.

I hope I won't bore you too much with my vacation pictures. The coolest thing (wel amongst other things) about Portugal was the coolest walls they have everywhere. And when they match the subject clothes, it's heaven! lol.
Boys are just so used to me pulling them anywhere for a shot, they don't even stop what they are talking about...They have become imune to mum's photog madness!
I bought this player piano twenty years ago from an estate sale. The little lady that owned it was being put in a nursing home and they were selling all her property. I have around 500 rolls that go with it. They are so old - I have only played a few of them. The one that I keep on here is "Those Were the Days" - I try to sing like Edith (remember her) - it is electric - i have no idea how old it is. Hope you enjoy seeing it :) !

Quite a bit of this challenge was down to photoshop work, but it did need the right subject.
I tried a couple of other images but this image worked best.
This is Hyelim Kim, a traditional Korean bamboo flute player. She came into one of our studios at work which gave me the oppportunity to get some good photographs.
I'll also upload a couple processed in my normal style.

In the street of Badaguan area (Qingdao, China), a local man lost in a batch of tourist was quite surprised to see that I was capturing him with my DSL-R. Like most of the Chinese guy of his generation, he handle his keys on the side of his trousers, adding a little noise when he is walking. For him, it seems to be also an distractive option. The key player of the street of Badaguan. Where is he going? What does he hide inside his bag?
Found this guy in a small city park in Naha practicing on some kind of traditional instrument. Truthfully he was a little off key, or so I think:)

Marathon stuff at City Hall, and an Orange marker top cut off and marker on the ground, like Everlast yesterday. Runner and Bicycle too....ladder still up from flood, over a week ago. Jet stream over where I work, and also the Garden of Peace, because it is right behind it. Environmental Police at the Garden of Peace?....on a Sunday?? Blue Jay!! in the birch tree...and never made a sound, and stayed a long time. the Rose got moved to Donovan [Atlantis] and the bicycle is slipping, again.
Strike still on, over corporate greed?? no specifics.....much smaller area too. Another cone down, and a nip is back.... AND!! Boston Fire D-3 right after.......same one as the Blade video, in comment. She always backs it up, at the markers too. Fiat.

Heading home the Black Lotus was on North Washington Street, and I missed it. So I stayed on the bus to go back and get it.....and I got off the same place the woman with the Purple hair did earlier, like she knew or something.
That Black Lotus is incredible, really!! First saw the exact same one on May 28, 2015, with the hole and other stuff, marked in collage with that date. That day after I got to work my lip bled, twice. A whole lot too, about five minutes each time. No cut or anything, just blood, and lots of it. I never bleed, and the woman I work with saw it too....it was sooooo strange....and today it was back,and across from One Canal, which had the DeJanna truck last week.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many bars/restaurants are required by law to limit capacity limits of patrons, or utilize outdoor patio space if social distancing is not achievable inside. In spring of 2020, under Governor Tony Evers "Safer at Home" order, bars were required to shut down at the end of March through the end of May. These photos document this chapter in our city's history, some have been fortunate to make it through but for some this was the last call.
