This 1950's era record player was my Christmas present from my wife this year (and the John Mellencamp album was a Christmas present from my sister in 1985).
The internal tube amplifier gives a very warm and smooth sound.

A Quidditch match is played by two teams made up of seven players. There are three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and one Seeker. Chasers keep possession of the quaffle and try to score a point by throwing it through one of three hoops on the opposing team's side
After spending the day in Washington Square Park, we headed down 6 th avenue to get on the subway and walked past the West 4 th Street Basketball courts. He was one of the players, taking a break. A real character, sense of humour, good natured.

A girl plays a 6-string Koto at what appeared to be a private ceremony at the Kushida-jinja, a Shinto shrine founded in 757 in Fukuoka, Japan. The Koto, Japan’s national instrument, is stringed (typically 13/17 or more) using moveable bridges (ji) along the length of the body (~180cm). For every part of the koto, which is plucked like a harp or a guitar, there is a traditional name that alludes to the body part of a dragon.
