Determination personified. She is one of 4 sisters, all tennis players, the youngest just 6 years old...
Shot in the late 1970s on tri-x. I didn't keep great records when I was in High School and College so I don't know the exact date. The photograph was taken in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, New York. I'm always inspired by people being active as they age especially back in 1970s. A cold day and the men are outside playing cards. As I age I appreciate this more and more.
I try to not take photos of people but I saw this guy playing a sax from across the street so I zoomed in and took his photo. I hope that is okay. :D
