In the centre of Lisbon lies a steep valley with rising land either side. looking from the East side onto the West and the viewing platform.
66504 rushes towards platform 2 at Long Buckby with, the late running, 4M54 Felixstowe to Ditton liner.
This was the platform at the Aria Hotel from which you can catch a tram to the Bellagio or the Monte Carlo.
Lionel train setup (platform) with native American village, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. To the left is an operating cattle car and corral, a new item from Lionel in the early '50s. (Orange car behind the engine). Behind it are classic metal Lionel cars from the 1940s. Note the track switch right behind the fence.
The figures were hand-painted by my mother, one of her hobbies. There are a few lead figures (small) among them. I probably made the teepees.
This was pre-Plasticville, though the covered wagon is obviously plastic. The barn towards the back is still cardboard.

Train conductors on the platform point and call to help reduce human error when trains come and go. I've started practicing that when I work those step by step motions and feel it's helped my practice in the work I do. Much respect to all the work that goes to keeping the train systems running in Japan.
The out of use back platform at Blayney Railway Station. The back platform served the currently out of service Cowra line. The station was restored in 2019 and still serves trains on the main Western line.
While the station opened in 1876 the main part of the building was built in 1889. Other buildings were added up to 1902. The whole complex is heritage listed.

...At this year's Keystone Conference! Jamie, Jenee, Annie, Coleen, Katie & Kacey! (forgive me, but I may have misnamed Katie- if I have, I hope someone corrects me!) had our pic taken as we were waiting to board the bus for the Vanity Club dinner where I got pinned as VC member number 629!

Last week I was on a train travelling through thick fog from Seattle to Vancouver. When the train slowed for a bridge or signal I would take shots from the window between the carriages. It was a fortuitous and unexpected journey through a continuous still and dense mist.
