Well, Flickr tells me this is my 999th upload – so I’ve almost reached something of a milestone here. The question is: should I preserve this collection in ‘aspic’, and rest here at the ‘buffers’, or should I press on with the next ‘journey’ of a thousand photos?! I’ve certainly enjoyed my time here (amazingly, over five years!), and all the global ‘travelling’ acquaintances I’ve made along the way...

The viewing platform that overhangs the streep drop down from the Ehrenbreitstein mountain. The view gives an arial view over the Rhein and Mosel and across Koblenz onto the plain surrounding the two rivers.

A Grey Heron using one of the fishing platforms at Carr Mill Dam. I think they have more luck than the fishermen.
A colourful Grand Central train photo-bombed this shot of Kings Cross but I think it made the photo. Kings Cross is now dominated by the huge 'Platform G' building.
