A small platform located next to the old flag pole where a small cannon was placed and fired to signal retreat at the end of a day of summer camp.
Looking out from the mezzanine at Waterloo over just a few of the platforms. Waterloo is the busiest station in the UK based on passenger numbers - then there is Waterloo East which is counted and run as a seperate station but for pratical puposes most users think of as part of Waterloo.

I was leaving the Barclaycard Arena area when I saw this platform hanging over the Hyatt Hotel (Hyatt Regency).
Either they were cleaning it, or changing it.

at the tokyo station, you had to wait behind these metal sliding gates for the train, which opened up only when the train was at the platform. the kyoto station did not have these gates.
There's a bit of a problem and the fireman who was dropping the teddies is now stuck aloft on the aerial platform (okay, he could come down the ladder0 and for some reason they can't get it back down to the ground.
