i've kind of left aside my series and projects these days, 'cos i'm planning this trip and i'm so excited about it that i barely can think of something else. i'm leaving in two weeks and i still have many things to prepare, so in the next days i won't be very active on flickr, and continue my 365 project with quick shots

“Our ultimate day in Hyeres and finally the rain stopped, giving us some time to scout and plan this sunrise shoot of the salins which host Pink flamingos all over the year. #TranquilScene #Nature #Tree #Plant #Landscape #Cloud #Sea #Sunset #ScenicsNature #PalmTree #hyereslespalmiers #lessalins #sunrise_and_sunset #sunrise_photography #fine_art_photography #raw_seasons”
“It’s a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you’re ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.”

I randomly got the urge to take a self portrait the other night and this is what came of it. Having dreams and goals of leaving the place you were born can sometimes be difficult, it's something I've wanted for a long time and I think now is the moment, more than ever. I don't have a concrete plan for "escape" but I do know that nothing will stop me from living out my dreams.
There is so much I could say here, so much I want to say…about my life and history, friends and family, bad experiences and resentments, longings and far away love, but instead I'll just let the image do the talking. Have a good day everyone:D
**I would like to put a small disclaimer saying that there was some pretty significant liquifying involved in this photo slim me down a bit and make me look more "sickly" and "weak". It is for artistic purposes only, and I felt like I should make it known incase it was obvious. Other wise I don't really care :P
Today, I hitched a ride with fellow flickr member JaiJad with plans to shoot CSX K636 on the River Line and other action on the soon to be sold West Albany block. After our arrival we quickly found CSX to be a parking lot, so we started to weigh out other options nearby. We decided to choose NS 22K with some foreign power on the nearby D&H. Here we see NS 22K passing through Howe's Cave, NY in a small flurry.
After such a hot week I had big plans on my day off to venture out to the local nature reserve and then do a spot of gardening....nope, it’s absolutely tipping it down so I’ve had to resort to photos of daisy’s in the rain! Hey ho, i can feel a Netflix and an arty afternoon coming on.....
*Photo does not fully show a complete Plan B.
** The 'B' in "Plan B" does not reflect a priority of plans at all.
I am not sure that cats really sleep. They review the previous days events and organize tonight's evil deeds.
I was planning on my future as a homeless person. I had a really good spot picked out.

Figuring out his next move.
This Amtrak in the foreground represents leg 2 (of 4!) of my goofiest trip via Amtrak in a good, long while.
I was supposed to take Amtrak 4 from KC-Naperville, buuuuut it was running late, so I rescheduled for the River Runner via StL. From there, I continued north to the spartan Summit (seen here), IL station, Ubered to Berwyn, then hopped on Metra train 2029 back to my original destination.
Just shy of 12 hours after leaving KCUS I arrived at my car, and of course, I ended up passing said train no. 4 along the Racetrack anyway, so it was all for naught, but was it? I wasn't interested in testing out the mantra of "Late trains get later," and I got a fun trip out of the deal.
Well, the photo didn't turn out how I expected at all ^^;.
My idea was to have a romantic photo with a little surprise..but I don't think it turned out very romantic.
I didn't plan on having it be in silhouette, but it didn't seem as effective the way I was thinking of doing before.
I probably should have used obitsu bodies in retrospect, since it took hours to get the posing right :x. The type 2 arms look a little weird.
I wanted to do a few macabre photos in honour of Halloween, so here's hoping the other ones turn out better...if I manage to conquer laziness and actually do them ^^;.
