This photo is from last year. I took a few of these Lilies and then didn't edit them for a few days. By that time it was too late for redoes and I'm not quite happy with them so I made a plan. There's always next year, right? When I got off work today I walked back and noticed that they were in bloom. Cool! I decided to feed me and the play with the cat for a bit and then I was going to drag out the strobes and tripods and such and do it right this time. Well, while I was feeding me and playing with the cat someone's blood dog decided to run through them and destroyed the whole crop.

Oh well, there's always next year, right? Maybe I should improve my fence before then.....

The Plans & Diagrams series was started in March 2006. The ideas and images continue to toy with me; I expect the series will grow. Images are of insects, machines, plans, diagrams, graphs, mathematical notations, and buttons.

Each of my series has its own set of rules. Some of my rules for the Plans & Diagrams series: use a photo of a linen bed sheet as the foundation of the image, restrict the color scheme to beiges, yellows, grays, & blacks, include an insect, include buttons or other circular objects. I don’t always adhere to every rule in every image in the series, but I find the restrictions help me explore the imagery.

Zoals eerder beloof zou ik nog een foto plaatsen van de Plan U tijdens het opstarten van het treinstel .

Vandaag ging de Plan u van Crew 2454 weer terug naar hun standplaats en men starten het treinstel op onder de kap van Centraal Station.

Dit was na jaren weer een bezienswaardigheid want de laatste keer dat dit was met de Stoomstrein van de SSN uit Rotterdam die toen een gezelschap rit deed .

Het begon aardig weer onder de rook te komen de kap en de meeste mensen stonden versteld dat dit mocht en kon.

Dat het Alarm niet afging was nog wat we misten die dag.

Ergens in de winter van 1995 of 1996 passeert een Plan T (gecorrigeerd) in een prachtig winters sneeuwtapijt de aansluiting Loven industrie. Loven ziet er tegenwoordig heel anders uit.

Due to some shortcomings in planning, we returned to the same lighthouse, having visited it the day before. The place we were due to go to, as it turned out, would have had this lovely backdrop plus a lovely lighthouse. Halfway there I guess.

This image is a second image which was captured earlier this week in Wiltshire whilst taking the opportunity to photograph the Milky Way. I think it's fair to say I got a little distracted.

The last time that I was fortunate to photograph the Northern Lights, was back in Iceland in March/April 2016, so only taken eight years. Hopefully some more opportunities in the near future.

Striking a classic pose like days of old the brakeman chats with the engineer about the next move to be made. But this is not a local freight peddling cars and the moves being planned are all for show thanks to twenty crazy foamers that have rented the railroad for the day!

....for the season ahead. Our Daughter and I have been getting our seed orders ready, of course we won't remember where everything goes in the gardens by the time it is all ready to plant. A little confusion is good for a person, keeps you on your toes!

In Haarlem waren de rijtuigen Plan E decennialang een vertrouwde verschijning. Hiermee reisde je naar Zandvoort, Amsterdam, Utrecht of Maastricht. Een exemplaar van het Spoorwegmuseum komt hier voorbij op een museumvriendenrit

Op 22 juni reed Plan U als pendeltrein naar de onderdelenfabriek van de NS in Berkel-Enschot. Deze werd die dag voor publiek geopend. Op de terugreis kon er natuurlijk niet gereisd worden zonder de ramen open te doen en te genieten van de heerlijke Diesel-geur. Een ander voorbeeld was dat het mogelijk werd om vanuit het raam te fotograferen. Deze omgeleide Dolimetrein (door werkzaamheden bij Weert) kwam hier iets na Tilburg langs onze Plan U om vervolgens richting 's Hertogenbosch, Utrecht en het Noorden te rijden.

Op één van de laatste dagen van dieseltractie op de Emmerlijn rijden twee (onbekende) Plan U-dieselstellen station Dalfsen binnen.

On one of the last days of diesel train operation on the line Zwolle - Ommen - Emmen two coupled DMU's are seen in Dalfsen.

Vandaag is Plan U 151 van de Stichting 2454 crew weer onderweg om roest te rijden op de aansluitingen van de HSL. Op de foto is het stel onderweg als trein 70451 van Rotterdam Stadion naar Zevenbergsche Hoek Aansluiting. Dordrecht Zuid, 18-11-2020.
