Just so you know: there are no mountains in northern France. We climb up the spoil heaps from the (long time defunct) coal mines and hammer down their sides.
My bike stands on the "Terril de Roeulx" and you can see the cone of the "Terril d'Audiffret Sud" near Escaudain in the background.

Early morning from the balcony at Nature Coast Condominium, where we stayed over Christmas. Stitched from several cell phone pics. My wife was lucky enough to spot a dolphin frolicking in the canal one day, but I missed it.
It was a fun week, but I'm glad to be home again.
