Der italienische Bergsee heißt Lago di Landro. Vor dort hat man einen sagenhaften Blick auf den Monte Cristallo (3221m).

I was watering a sapling in our backyard this morning, when I spied our basset looking extra regal in the morning sun.
On display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Kimera Automobili EVO37. Released as an interpretation of the iconic Lancia 037 homologation road car, the Kimera EVO37 will have a very limited run indeed of only 37 units. Each of which will cost a whopping £415,000.
Built from scratch using similar construction methods to the Lancia, only augmented with the very latest modern materials and technology.
As with the chassis and structure of the car, the engine is also a nod to the original 037, running a box fresh 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine that is both turbo and supercharged and capable of achieving a maximum 608PS (447Kw).

I wandered down to this spot yesterday while looking to make some pinhole photos. If I hadn't just finished my film roll, this spot would have made for an interesting pinhole image.

This is a new version of an image that I captured back in October. I was testing out my new phone and I was (and still am) blown away by the results! I never imagined that a smartphone could shoot images like this. Here's the old version: flic.kr/p/2jXazYJ
The Google Pixel's astrophotography mode is revolutionary. It automatically stacks 15 exposures of 16 seconds each and saves the stack as a raw image (which can then be processed like typical astro data from a real camera). Can't wait to shoot more of these again someday.
This image was shot just as the galactic core started setting towards the SW. The light pollution in the distance is from Lynchburg, about 55 miles away.
