I've been working in the office this week, and working late and walking home at night after sunset.
I was going to sneak this into We're here today, but it's masquerade, not mask :(
We're in a bit of a cold snap where walking to dog involves an hour long dressing process with multiple layers .. including on the face.
I have a mask, ear warmers, beany and hoody and I was still cold !!
It's rare that I'm up early enough to get a sunrise pic but my Saturday bike ride gave me a good view of this one. I had to stop for a minute to enjoy it and take a photo

While walking in Northgate Park, we noticed a huge turtle below the frozen surface of the pond. It was moving very slowly into the sunlight shining through the ice. Based on the long neck and pointy head, I'm guessing it's a Texas Spiny Softshell Turtle (or maybe a Western Spiny Softshell?)
It's Bluebonnet season in Texas. This is an empty lot in Las Colinas across the street from my office.
Susan and I got some last minute tickets to see Kraftwerk at the Fair Park Music Hall. I think it's the first live music event we've done since pre-covid days. They were amazing as always
Had to go into the office today.
Christchurch college is right next door and i'm always amazed at it's beauty.
It snowed. The kids were out in it most of the day, the dog loved it and played in the snow.
It was a fantastic day, but I'm exhausted, so I'm taking a snow day ..
