While driving back home to Chicago from a work conference in Florida, I stopped in Chattanooga. Stumbling upon the Tennessee Riverpark on the north side of town, I decided to spend the night and try my luck at catching a train in good morning light…
…and there you have it! Norfolk Southern ES40DC No. 7639 leads two older Dash 9’s pulling a manifest over the Tennessee River and into Chattanooga.
