OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

It was a cloudy afternoon so I had the f-stop at f/5.6. I wanted a high shutter to prevent any shakiness in the photo and I chose to focus in on the same branch. I choose a different angle to capture more of the front of the branch. By doing so I was able to get a blurry background and create an interesting composition.

for our family. Our beloved Pine tree died and after a couple of Arborist checkups they said the tree was gone for good. Sadly we had to have it removed.

This huge tree was one of the main reasons that Claude wanted to buy our house. I still remember him calling me and telling me that he was putting in an offer to buy this house because there was this humongous beautiful pine tree in the back yard. It was love at first sight.

My husband and I and all of the creatures that lived in this tree are saddened to have to say goodbye.

This tree got bent by a storm we had a couple days ago.

Pine tree "flower" beginning to swell.

I just love the way the pine needles looked with the ice. The trees hated it, though!

Sometimes you give a little.

Sometimes you snap.

Sometimes you just have to start again.

After sawing off many lower branches and towing them away and digging out bricks from around the yard, this happened. Now I need some hostas.
