After little OOAK: changed eye color, added eye shadow and changed lip color. The lip color in not final, gonna try different colors) Dressed her inspired by Andy Warhol Barbie. No need to waste money now lol / после небольшого ООАКа: изменила цвет глаз, губ и добавила теней на веки.
When the NCB Pontardulais shed had two Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 saddle tanks in its fleet, one was diagrammed to shunt the BR exchange sidings and the other to work at Graig Merthyr colliery. On 25th August 1970, '"Graig Merthyr" (Works No.1073 built in 1906) was n duty at Pontardulais exchange sidings. These duties were taken over bu 'Austerity' locos within a couple of years and the two four-coupled Barclays were scrapped in March 1973.

Mural "Pilot", Kolekcja Malarstwa Monumentalnego, ul.

Painted in 2013 by Shai Dahan, the mural is inspired by story of a 1920s story of a pilot who made an emergency landing in a field of cows. In his attempt to save the animals, he damaged the fence, which allowed the frightened herd to escape.
Part of the inner courtyard of Fort Tompkins, which is itself part of the Fort Wadsworth complex on Staten Island.
Fort Tompkins was built on the bluff overlooking the Battery Weed to protect the Battery Weed from any land-based attacks while the Battery Weed used its many cannons to thwart sea-based attacks on New York City. Nothing like that ever actually happened, but they would have been ready if it had.
(For 25 years I listened to the Vietnam-era song “Sky Pilot,” not knowing what the heck a sky pilot is. Answer: A military chaplain. That was the last thing the U.S. Army did with Fort Tompkins -- it trained its chaplains here.)
This is my version of the naboo pilot from set 7877, it has more detail then the original. At least I think so :)

Fire Fighters from the Inland Empire and all over SoCal battle a large 8,000 + acre Brush Fire that started in the Bernardino National Forest and made its way into the Summit Valley area of San Bernardino County.
I was drooling over Russell Stutler's collection of the Legendary Pilot Murex and particularly fond of the 1973 black striped MYU. Amazing technology ahead of its time, launched in the same year I was born in 1971. My budget only allowed me to get the 90th anniversary limited 9000pcs edition. It was launched last year but Pilot Hong Kong didn't carry this pen until recently, so here it is.
You can learn a lot more from Pilot's M90 site and The Fountain Pen Network in addition to Russell's site, so I'm not repeating anything here. I just love the minimalist design of the original and its pocket size when the cap is closed.

If you have ever watched an old TV series called "The Andy Griffith Show". That show was set in "Mayberry" a fictional town based on Griffths home town of Mt Airy NC. ON the show they often talked about getting away to Mt. Pilot for the weekend. This is the real pilot mountain. And after the trip we had an early dinner in Mt Airy, aka Mayberry.
"Terrified... mortified... petrified... stupefied... by you."
- A Beautiful Mind
This was the first time I had taken notice of this detail. And I must admit, I was quite disturbed by it. It's ood... I'm still quite disturbed while looking at the picture now.

My favorite pilot, the one and only Dr. Mike Lanzetta. This guy is actually pretty photogenic...
Ok, ok, I confess. I haven't actually flown with Mike, and he's not really so photogenic. I'm just saying that hoping he'll let me hitch a ride in his airplane someday... ;)
