I named this guy or gal? Pilot. That is the name of the rock in the background. "Pilot rock". it repeated this maneuver at least 10 times on the drive home.

Lots and lots of tiny blue dragon flies, flitting around the wildflower and other vegetation. Just GORGEOUS! Loved these little things! VERY difficult to photograph w/my little digital. I really wished I had a proper camera. I remembered too late that I have this continuous shoot setting!

Also, lots of butterflies in this area.
