"SUNRISE ON THE FARM"

Driving home, after dropping my husband off at work, I spotted this photo op. The sun was just about to rise and the fog was softly caressing the earth. It was such a beautiful moment in time I just had to stop and take pictures. I took quite a few. Notice the three spider webs in the tree...two of the spiders are hanging out in the middle of them. ~Candace Makela

This is the dreaded Kudsu Vine. (In my neighbor's yard) It is how it grows, how it takes over and of course what it looks like. I swear, when it rains and then the sun comes out...you can "hear" it growing! It grows very fast. If any part of it touches the ground it takes root and new shoots grow!! It will wrap around anything, choking it off and killing it.

This morning I went to our local nursery to get some supplies, when I saw this Spectacular "Liliaceae Lily" with such beauty, color and details. I decided to get these for my wife on this Friday, she will be surprised when she gets home tonight.
