This, and the next three uploads will present the same flower from four different perspectives. Some of my friends who are not into Flickr, find it strange that I take so many flowers and jokingly say I must be "getting in touch with my feminine side". They see it 'out of character' but I see flowers as the perfect subject - though I never find it possible to do them justice.

Freezing mornings and warm afternoons are playing havoc with early spring blooms. The Chinese Lantern/Abutilon bud is lovely and the leaves show the effects of the weather. No nice to in my yard again..
