Twisted Abstract

This is top end of wire clothes hangers.I bent some to have more of a abstract feel.

Fluffy, twisted, toy abstract - my contribution to the MM challenge for 21/1/19, theme: Pick Two

I was sure I would be posting some kind of iridescent abstract for this but nothing was working then I saw some left over "props" I had for the white on white challenge and thought "they're fuzzy"

This wild pink flower is called Ragged Robin. I have a few of these little beauties growing in my yard.

This is part of a model of the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai. It is made of clear plastic, but the base is iridescent and in the right light this reflects up through the rest of the model tower.

Podía haberla titulado "El unicornio salvaje y rebelde del infierno" o algo así, por la forma, pero solo es una hoja rota, como tantas cosas que están rotas en esta vida...

Pick Two -|- Damaged Glass

A well-used Pyrex measuring cup showing its battle scars. While unsightly (and slightly unsafe), the chip did not render the cup useless.

For the Macro Mondays group, on the subject of 'Pick Two' - my two words are, fairly obviously, 'RED' and 'PEN'...

This is - equally obviously - the tip of a red felt-tip marker pen...

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Pick two", in this case an adjective and noun from a given list. My two are "striped" and "insect". Not many insects around in Sydney at the moment, but this hoverfly fits the bill.

Yellow and Paper

These are yellow and gold quilled paper circles. Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.

Taken for the Macro Mondays theme "Pick two". Thanks for viewing, faving and commenting.

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Pick two". The challenge was to pick an adjective and noun from two lists and I have chosen "yellow flower". Just to carry the theme further, here are two yellow flowers! The Australian wildflower Hibbertia linearis, or Guinea flower, photographed in Manly Dam, a wildlife reserve near my home.

This is the outside of one of our quarter light windows that had been hit by something in the recent past. As it is toughened glass it has not just fallen to pieces but stays in position, possibly supported by the other pane of the double glazing.
