Matryoshka Toys (Russian: матрёшка, IPA: [mɐˈtrʲɵʂkə] (About this soundlisten)), also known as Russian nesting dolls, stacking dolls, or Russian dolls, are the set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. The name "matryoshka" (матрёшка), literally "little matron", is a diminutive form of Russian female first name "Matryona" (Матрёна) or "Matriosha".
A set of matryoshkas consists of a wooden figure, which separates, top from bottom, to reveal a smaller figure of the same sort inside, which has, in turn, another figure inside of it, and so on.
It is a small ghost pendant made by Chien Nie from Lithops Studio. She makes beautiful and delicate pottery,
The pendant height is about 0.75 in.
This is a honey bee on a Californian Lilac bush. It's hand held in natural light taken with a macro lens and 2.0 converter.
Welsh Poppy (Papaver cambricum). I have quite a few of these poppies in the garden. This shot was taken on a day of sunshine and showers, just after a heavy downpour.

A small copper stone that came from Copper Harbor in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. A small part has been cleaned and polished
This is considered "float copper" pieces of this can be picked up when found.
Volcanic activity produced the only strata on Earth where large-scale economically recoverable 97 percent pure native copper is found.
Much of the native copper found in the Keweenaw comes in either the form of cavity fillings on lava flow surfaces, which has a ”lacy” consistency, or as "float" copper, which is found as a solid mass. Copper ore may occur within conglomerate or breccia as void or interclast fillings. The conglomerate layers occur as interbedded units within the volcanic pile.
My effort for Macro Mondays on the theme of Pick Two. Delicate Pottery - my wife's dragons have delicate ears like this little chap who has lost one..

My faithful loyal childhood commando, after 25 years of royal service finally had his legs amputated after an emphatic win in a fierce battle.

The 1/21/19 theme for Macro Mondays is Pick Two, one from a list of descriptive words and one from a list of nouns. So, I picked damaged glass.
#MacroMondays #PickTwo .... a possibility.
This may be the most useful of the eight or so possibilities for the theme for today, 6/14. I’ll probably put them all up and then dither
