At Hitchin lavender with a friend, Debree818, we had a fun afternoon taking photos.
Sorry to post and run, back later to view and comment. HFF
Here is a link to one of Debbie's lovely photos, which I'm hoping she'll post for FF too.
In the middle of Memphis TN sits the largest urban park in the USA. The 4,550 acres contains almost 20 lakes, miles and miles of trails specifically for walking, jogging, roller blading and biking. Some paved such as this, some rugged trails along the Wolf river border.
Room for fishing, boating and restaurants and open air entertainment centers.
It is generally quiet and peaceful after dark and I like to take advantage of the lights and paths around the large lake.
Thanks very much to the team at Love to Decorate for picking my image as their pick of the day. It's really amazing to feel recognised in this way. Thank you again :-)

On our way to Skye we passed so many lovely views we thought we'd never get there! I think this was Loch Loyne [though I can't be sure, a best guess from the map!] and was viewed over a field of Cairns [see my next shot] - very pretty!

The Pickens Anderson job rolls out for the day, with several industries and an interchange with NS ahead of them. The single hopper in tow sat by the engine shops overnight. Also, for those interested, the pickens recently received four ex-CSX B40-8 units, three of which were in YN3 or YN3b paint, and one in YN2. I was informed by an employee that the unit in YN2 was already sold and off the property again, while the other three are generally only used if necessary for a heavy train. The U-boats are otherwise preferred.
In Utah, pick any direction and drive. You’ll run into mountains, lakes, red rock, desert and endless skies. It’s always an adventure!
