In the United States, 3/14 is Pi Day. To celebrate, my grocery store had pie by the slice as well as whole pies.
We got a banana cream pie from perkins for Pi Day. Wren ate crust, deciding that the filling parts were not worth trying.
I initially had some misgivings, but it turns out that pineapple pie is a seriously delicious pie. If you like pineapple at all, do yourself a favor and make a pineapple pie-- you will not regret it.

March 14th 2014 - aka Pi Day - was the official launch party for MIT AAx on the 6th floor of the Media Lab. In keeping with the Pi Day theme, sweet and savory pies were available courtesy of Petsi Pies in Cambridge.
Later in the evening, AAx merged with with the Grad Arts Forum Annual Arts Showcase and Soiree and the party rolled on!
The MIT Alumni Arts Exchange (AAx) is a global network of over 12,000 MIT alumni of all ages who are involved with and interested in the arts.
