For those of you who write your dates mm-dd-yy instead of dd-mm-yy or yyyy-mm-dd, Saturday was the PI day of the century. So here are some celebratory images for the event... Thanks to my awesome wife for baking the pie...
Here in ACC country, apparently they are more intent in celebrating the day with a game that features a round sphere, two hoops, a circle and at least four semi-circles...
Proper Pie Company, purveyor of British (via New Zealand) savory and sweet pies, presented this cup to this morning's first one-hundred customers.
My intension every year is to build the Greek letter pi on pi-day (March 14th). This year I decided to use some bionicle parts, even though the leg parts of the pi, after a little bit of investigation, proved to be from the Ben 10 line.
In celebration of Pi Day, March 14th or 3/14, I attempted baking an Apple Pie based on this recipe! Here's to hoping it turns out okay! Also, it called for whiskey? Okay!
