Photogram made using a dishtowel. Made by placing object directly on photosensitive paper and then exposing them to light.
A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a photo-sensitive material such as photographic paper and then exposing it to light. The result is a negative shadow image varying in tone, depending on the transparency of the objects used. Areas of the paper that have received no light appear white; those exposed through transparent or semi-transparent objects appear grey.
These photograms are made by pupils of the St Michaelschool in Groningen; Maureen, Anne, Luka, Mylene, Kaatje en Jolevi

This is a photogram I creatively crafted at college as part of my 'Photo Image Capture' course.
It was made using by placing a few bits and bobs onto photographic paper and using the light from an enlarger to expose the paper for a few seconds. Then we got to slop the paper into developer and fixer.

These are not at all what I thought I'd be doing when it was first assigned, but it's been a hard couple of weeks. Both are from my thoughts on death and separation. I'm liking what I've come up with so far.
