The Prague Astronomical Clock or Prague Orloj (Czech: Pražský orloj [praʒskiː ɔrlɔi]) is a medieval astronomical clock located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, at 50°5′13.23″N 14°25′15.30″E. The Orloj is mounted on the southern wall of Old Town City Hall in the Old Town Square and is a popular tourist attraction.
The Orloj is composed of three main components: the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; "The Walk of the Apostles", a clockwork hourly show of figures of the Apostles and other moving sculptures; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months
The four figures flanking the clock are set in motion at the hour, these represent four things that were despised at the time of the clock's making. From left to right in the photographs, the first is Vanity, represented by a figure admiring himself in a mirror. Next, a stereotypical Jew holding a bag of gold represents greed or usury. Across the clock stands Death, a skeleton that strikes the time upon the hour. Finally, the infidel Turk wears the Turban.
There is also a presentation of statues of the Apostles at the doorways above the clock, with all twelve presented every hour.

The morainic circle conformation, that characterises the hilly surroundings of Verbano, derives from the transporting action of the rocky debris operated by the glacier of Lake Maggiore during the Quaternary period. Two concentric sections of these circles form the structure of the Natural Park of the Big Ponds of Mercurago, farthest southern ramification of the hilly group called 'Vergante'.
Here, along the till paths of the melting waters of the old glacier in a moss environment, you can find a dozen of small damp areas embellished by their fragility. The Park of the "Lagoni" ( Big Ponds ) stretches out for about 470 hectares at altitudes ranging from 230 to 330 meters.
Environment
Three quarters of the surface is covered by a wood, retraceable to the original oak wood, with particularly suggestive moory scraps and an arfificial pinewood of strobus pine of 30 hectares.
The most interesting natural elements of the protected area of the Lagoni of Mercurago are the aquatic and palustrine flora that counts many rare species and the microfolora as well as an interesting aquatic entomofauna. The fauna of the low hilly environments is well represented. More details obout reserach and nature of the park are in the naturalistic plan.

(Unfortunately the weather was not the best, with an ambient light very bad)

Prague (English pronunciation: /ˈprɑːɡ/; Czech: Praha pronounced [ˈpraɦa] ( listen), see also other names) is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Nicknames for Prague have included "the mother of cities" (Praga mater urbium, or "Praha matka měst" in Czech), "city of a hundred spires", or Stověžatá Praha in Czech and "the golden city" or Zlaté město in Czech.[4]
Situated on the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague has been the political, cultural, and economic centre of the Czech state for more than 1100 years. For many decades during the Gothic and Renaissance eras, Prague was the permanent seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and thus was also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire.
Today, the city proper is home to more than 1.2 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of over 1.9 million.[5]
Since 1992, the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, making the city one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, receiving more than 4.1 million international visitors annually, as of 2009.[6]

---
Marsa Alam (Arabic: مرسى علم) is a town in south-eastern Egypt, on the west coast of the Red Sea. It is currently seeing increasing popularity as a tourist destination and development including the opening of Marsa Alam Airport in 2001.
Marsa Alam is situated near the Tropic of Cancer where the Arabian Desert meets the Red Sea, and it has the appearance of a tropical paradise with its palm trees, mangroves and sea coasts fringed with barrier coral reefs. It has already gained a strong reputation amongst scuba divers due to its numerous and unspoilt diving sites both along the coast and offshore. Sightings of spinner dolphins, dugongs and hammerhead sharks are a frequent occurrence for those who venture into its waters.
