I love studying a creative course at Uni. Our class was in the studio today and we were in pairs shooting for an assignment. I’m shooting next week so I was just assisting my partner today, but walking around the studio and seeing what people come up with and being genuinely enthusiastic about what they do is so nice to be a part of.
We went up to Jindabyne today to see my Nonna and Nonno and other relatives that were down to visit. We also went to the Jindabyne Lakelight Sculpture Festival and went to the pub afterwards and had a nice family dinner. Its great to be back home
Experimenting in the studio is so fun! I was doing a practice shoot today with Jess for a Uni assignment that I’m shooting next week, they turned out pretty cool! Other then getting some good shots, Thursdays are just not my day. I always just feel unmotivated and something always stuffs up and doesn’t go to plan. I’m also getting pretty sick of this rain also, I want to go running already!
First week of Uni done. I’m enjoying being back and in the city again. Melbourne just has such a nice vibe to it. Other then the fact that in one day you can experience every season in Melbourne, which makes it so hard to dress for, but its still enjoyable
Sleepovers! Jess came over to my place for the night and we indulged ourselves in some Chinese, chips, chocolate, movies and girl talk. I realised how much I missed sleepovers with friends, I wished they happened more often. They were always so fun and a great way to catch up and talk about absolutely anything and everything

Found this gorgeous fur jacket in my closet. Not sure who’s it is but I spent a while just running my figures through it. It was such an oddly comforting feeling. Anyway, my day… Pretty strange, I seem to be having those quite a bit lately, but they are good. Lets keep things strange

About 5 months ago I decided not to pluck or wax my eyebrows for a few reasons. Firstly, I don’t understand why women think they have to do it in the first place. Its just because we grow up in a society that tells us we have to do this and that to be beautiful. So why was I still taking time out of my day to do something I didn’t see reason to do in the first place. I like the look of them without any modifications, anyway, I’m letting them be free
Having walked and walked, we came across this man, sat in his own in a makeshift room constructed of cardboard, he fixed shoes whilst not even wearing any himself.

One of the great things about being home, are the homemade meals. My mum is the best cook. The good thing about being away from home a lot, is you have a greater appreciation for the small things and you make the most of the time you have with the people around you, which often makes it even better…
Today we slept in until 3pm and man we needed it. Being a long weekend, we decided to just go out for a few drinks in the city with some people and not have a crazy night again. But everyone that we were planning on meeting, changed their minds and then it was just Jess and myself in the city again. So already in the city, we decided to go to a $5 entry Labour Day Eve Party and man there were so many people. We weren’t there for long though, we got the party bug out of our systems last night. So we headed to the station because it was early enough to catch a train back, but we didn’t consider it was a public holiday, so we had to catch a cab anyway. Still a nice night though

Rain at night is so pleasant, it was a bit gloomy in the afternoon though. Hearing it on the roof is almost like a lullaby. My morning was lovely today too. Had breakfast in the city and got a ham and cheese croissant, an old favourite of mine. A good way to start the day
I must admit I’m finding it harder to get inspiration for my Day by Day Project. Often I’m in my room and its around 11pm and I’m looking around to see if there is anything interesting I can take a picture of, but I’m running out of things! So here is a picture of me brushing my teeth.
I had a really nice sleep in and day off today. Just organising stuff in my room, planning for shoots, doing a bit of school work and creating a new blog called, Life is Art and Travel, lifeisartandtravel.tumblr.com. And this is my teddy named, Ted Ted. He is much older then I am and he was given to me by my father. The older he gets the more I treasure him
I hate to admit it but I’m really not liking doing my Day by Day Project anymore. I think its a combination of a lot of things going on in life and not feeling as motivated anymore. I feel bad for not putting much effort in and I hate having to do it right before i go to bed if I’ve forgotten. I believe it will pass though, well I hope. I don’t feel that inspired for my photography course at the moment either. I’m kind of scared that I’m losing my love for it, I know I’ll get it back though. I’m just in a bit of a dull patch
