Finally done photopost on this set! Took me a while to get this up for the band , so I will add more images to this set to balance that out. That and they had a light guy here at the muse so I loved the play time I had!

Full set can be seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/d_saygoodbye/sets/804528/

There are a few doubles because the flickr uploader kept wigging out and closing down half way through the upload and it was hard to judge all the ones it uploaded and did not!

They are wonderful muscians and people, they have come out and supported the magazine and local bands all over the place. I keep bumping into them at shows, always a beautiful thing to see.

I'll be around tomorrow I can't shake the blahs today so I think I will retreat to my bed.

With love,

Roll of Honour, on the west wall, inside St Peter's. Looks old and slightly faded, and so it should after 90 years or so.

Each name is listed in one of three categories - Service Overseas, Service Afloat and Home Service.

The Service Afloat category perhaps reflect's Framilode's position on the River Severn, and a time when the river and the nearby Gloucester to Sharpness canal must have played a significant part in the life and the livelihood of many local people.

2 men are named as fallen, both under Service Overseas, while another 2 are said to have died while on Home Service

There are no other clues to indicate exactly who the men were.

(Further work to be done, perhaps using the 1911 census, for this and nearby villages.)

I have so far been unable to confirm the identity of three of the names.

The military images website appears to have taken their research much further.

Another rainy day in the city of Melbourne. I’m doing work placement for Uni with an non for profit organisation so I went into the city to do that today. My organisation is for people with mental and physical disabilities and illnesses. I find it extremely uncomfortable at times to be in that environment because its so different to anything I’m used to. The people that work there amaze me how they can do that everyday…

Have done three shows with In-V (see new full set here www.flickr.com/photos/d_saygoodbye/sets/668386/) now, the lighting at the Muse the other night was not the best for photography but I caught a few gems among the sea of 200. I'm going back through as I see them here and deleting more and more that I don't like. Hard with my editing. That being said my article is in the NEXT issue after we go back and edit it's length and I get to put ONE photo of the band in there. OMG ONE PHOTO. The editor is going to sit with me out to lunch and edit and reedit my piece down to 750 words. WOW. Then I am going to incorporate that fact that I have done three shows with them now and the one I'm about to do photopost on is from The Battle of the Bands that they WON! Congrats to them.

Now I'm off to do some more photopost and then edit out the ones of this group of shots that suck. I'm leaning more toward I like the blurry ones, i like the movement ones, some absolute in focus nice ones are there to, I have the ability to do that I'm sort of shying away from it. Guess my style is peaking, living, changing. I don't know. Deep tones and crazy motions.

Was upset it wasn't in print this time but pushed to have it in next time and not some other band. That made me feel good that I'm getting them in there at least, this time they know it's coming and we'll have the finished piece way before time! They were cool about it not being in this issue as well. One more reason to love them, there are a billion others. I hope they get out on the road and everyone can get a chance to experience them live.

My first in print for the mag was a quote about Courtney Love of Hole and my non-existant balls. FUN TIMES!

I was a photographers assistant today at a beautiful wedding in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. It was a great experience and I learnt heaps from the photographer too, she was lovely. Plus $40 an hour isn’t bad for 5 hours. I didn’t get any photos whilst I was there though, so this is a bit of a representation of how i felt when I got home, dizzy and tired!

Well I went into the city today to look at a few places to live because I want to move out and have a bit more freedom then what my current place provides. I love living here but I fell like I need a change. So anyway, I was super lucky today finding an amazing place in the city and I’m heaps stoked about it because it was just what I was looking for too. I got it the same day i met everyone there and went through the house. It seems too good to be true! So ill be moving within the week!

Today Dad and I went mountain bike riding in Jindabyne. It was such a nice day and I’m glad I could spend it with dad. It will be my last night sleeping at home for the trip which I’m pretty upset about. I had to give my dog, Pepi one last snuggle in bed. Its always so hard to say goodbye to him because you can’t tell him that I’m leaving again or that i will even come back.

Packing tonight to fly back home tomorrow. Getting very excited to see all my friends, my dog, my parents and of course my beautiful sister. I wish my break was more then I week. I know now that it won’t be long enough, they never are…

Last Tuesday of having a full day at Uni because our afternoon class is finishing for the year. I was filling in paperwork to move into my new place and printing ID off so I could go into their office after Uni and hand it in. After I did that I went to my new place and met my other new room mate, she seemed lovely and I reckon we will get along very well, so thats exciting and I can’t wait to go out with her. The reason I was there though is because my other flatmate is moving out in a month so he decided that we should all help decide who is going to live there after him because we will be the ones having to put up with them. We met a couple people that looked through the place but most people didn’t turn up so we decided, once we all move in we will do it again then. After that, I had to go home and finish my Uni essay, fun stuff

I'm in love..........................and my life is wonderful with Him and thanks to Him.
