Went into the city with mum today. We did a bit of shopping and had sushi for lunch, thai for dinner and topped it off with the last episodes of Hannibal season one. I’ll miss her, as I will miss all of the family while I’m in Melbourne
What a nice Sunday. I did feel a bit lost in the morning thought, so much to do but nothing really being more important then the other, makes it hard to decide what to do… Anyway, I watched a few episodes of my favourite show, Girls, because season three is fully out now! I had lovely two hour phone call with mum, just talking about all the stuff going on in life. Had a good stretch after my run too, getting closer to doing the splits. And I also wrote a few pages in my visual diary about my major work to do with advertising. All up, a good day.
It was very cool and windy today, and I think this ladybird was probably annoyed to have been disturbed when I looked inside the petals of the tulip flower. Sadly, I didn't mind annoying her, lol, and took a few snaps to see if I could get the glow of the colours to show up on such a dull and overcast afternoon, using just natural light.
This is the result:

Fresh clean towels are the best. My parents own an embroidery business and they always put my name on them. I miss them both, my sister and dog. Its especially hard being away from dad because he is so hard to talk to over the phone and often the call never ends well, and my sister and I don’t talk as much as I’d like too, but I guess thats what you have to expect living in another state
A discovery whilst getting well and truly lost again in the city.

Band: The Avett Brothers
Location: Blumenthal Performing Art Center

I'm currently in photo-post for this show. Unfortunately I'm going to have to restart my 365, due to the fact... five minutes after we got home from this show I came down with the flu. Everyone in the family minus one of our sons has had it. The baby, twice. It was wicked I'm finally on the mend *crosses fingers* and have decided to attempt photopost. Maybe dehydration, delerium from lack of full sleep cycles, and enthusiasm still pumping from a wonderful production will get me through this editing process.
The Blumenthal Art Center is a beautiful place. The staff is friendly and understanding and I was met with smiling face, calm voices, and even met with the head of entertainment, lighting and production. Grabbed a card and plan on working with him at a later date. Overall, a grand show.
Also note : The Avett Brothers have cases from Crown Case Co. guitar, drum, and bass amp cases.

LoDo Denver - we counted 8 starbucks in a 10 block walk. Nine if you count the one inside the Barnes and Nobles bookstore...
It amazes me they do so well. The coffee is over roasted, tastes burnt and very yicky. Really quite terrible....
Isn’t it amazing what you can do with a camera… Today was a dull day for a dull class. I’m not liking one of my teachers at College. He is slow, boring, unengaged and unenthusiastic. A shame, but there is always one at any School, College or Uni.
Had a lovely lunch with mum and my sister today before I left to go to Canberra. When your away from the people you love a lot, you always make the most of the time you have with them. I made a great playlist to put on a CD for the drive and I was really keen on blasting it all the way but the CD corrupted, it dampened my mood quite a bit. I also have to wake up at 3:30am tomorrow to go to the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Canberra because I have to photograph it for a documentary assignment for Uni, that should be interesting…

אין בא ואין יוצא. לפעמים אני מסוגלת לראות בזה צד מצחיק.
בשאר הזמן אני פשוט בורחת לאיזה קפה-אינטרנט מקומי.

Sleep ins on Saturday are the best. Woke up at about 11am, went for a run and this was my breakfast/lunch that I had at 2:30. Five:am Yogurt, my favourite, with grapes, kiwi fruit, banana and sultanas. I insist that everyone try Vanilla Bean Yogurt by Five:am, even if your not much of a fan of vanilla, its amazing…

CAPTION: Note: this is for Peter Carlson's story about Wilson, NOT the movie review. FILE--Rep. Charles Wilson, D-Texas, holds a British Enfield rifle in his Capitol Hill office October 23, 1988. Wilson says congressmen rarely score points at home when they tinker in international affairs, but isn't worried his support of the Afgan resistance cost him any votes back in East Texas. The rifle, although in short supply, is part of the Afgan's arsenal. (AP Photo/Marcy Nighswander)

This was taken under the vast canopy of the local souks. Having wandered well and truely off the tourist track, I got lost but gained some fantastic insights into local life.
