A red phonebox on Bridge Street In Chester.

This one has had a cash machine Installed Into It necessitating the phone to be placed on the outside of the kiosk.

This Is the first one like this I have seen.

A red phonebox In the Yorkshire market town of Pocklington.

 

A much unloved example this one Is covered In the dust from the demolition of the old Doctors surgery on the Left.

 

I'm unsure why there Is a padlock fitted to this phonebox, and the Inside of It has been boarded up, maybe It has been purched for future use, time will tell.

The Red phonebox at a place called Ginclough which Is near to Rainow which Is In East Cheshire.This one Is disconnected. August 8 2016.

A pair of Red Phoneboxes and post box on Lord Street Southport.

Both are In operational order for the moment.

These two are further North along Lord St than my other picture of a pair of phoneboxes In Southport and are situated near the junction of Lord St/Seabank Rd.

Due to It's location this phonebox has got to be one of the most remote phoneboxes In the UK.

This one Is situated at the end of a single track road right outside a cottage In a secluded and remote area.

I'm going through some files that I've never really done much with until now. Where does one find such a pristine phonebooth? Ontonagon, Michigan. Of course, this was back in August of 2009, but Google maps shows that it was still there recently.

The telephone inside of a phone booth in Bellingham Bay

A red K2 phonebox at Wynyatt St/Rawstorne St Islington London.

 

April 1 2018.

A red phonebox and postbox at a location called Twatt on the Orkney Isles Scotland.

 

The phonebox has seen better days and Is out of service judging by the blue rope which Is tied around It preventing access.

 

It Is situated on the on the A967 just before the junction of the A986.

art? I believe this photo is a picture of longing and yet hope.

 

We've all been there... the phone booth.

Its where things happen. A call to a long lost friend, a call home. Whether its a simple 'hello' or a long goodbye, lives change in a simple phonebooth.

A look at one of three red phoneboxes In the Cornish village of St Mawes.

This one Is located In a narrow alley at the side of the Ship and Castle Hotel, on the Left of shot.

I can't recall If this one Is working or not, but I would not expect this one to be removed.

This example Is padlocked up and Is home to a Gnome as can be seen.

I think It's fairly cruel to keep the Gnome padlocked up like this.

This one has had It's phone removed and as such Is awaiting It's next use or removal.

The red phonebox at Nangreaves In Bury Manchester.

Rosso Volvo FJ08BYH Is seen on a 487 service at Nangreaves from Bury, the terminus Is just behind me.

This Is the first picture I have posted In a while and as we enter a period of uncertainty In the UK with lockdowns being Imposed last night March 23 2020 I suspect that I might just be uploading a few more pictures In the next few days/weeks/months or however long this virus Is about.

I hope everybody that reads this stays well and gets through It.

Situated on the single track B8035 road, even In pouring rain It Is still a spectacular drive.

Not sure if anybody still uses phone booths these days. Here in Canada pay phones are getting harder to find. But I did see a number still in UK ike these four in Cambridge

A couple of views of the red phonebox at Bridge End on the Isle of West Burra which Is linked to the Mainland Shetland by two bridges.

This one Is missing It's door but Is still working. This phonebox occupies a lofty position and can be seen from quite a distance away.
