This evening walking back from our town's Flag Day Parade, the 5yearold points and asks me "why do they have a phone in a little room?" When I explained that it was called a phone booth and that the phone is coin operated, she asked "why don't you just use your cell phone so you don't have to pay money?"
Haven't placed this booth in any conspicuous places lately. So here you go.

The old, three-sided bus stop was a work of art inside, but has been taken down to build a replacement as part of the improvement of the city park. Block construction had been painted inside by local artists, including this last wall left standing. Other walls were adorned with paintings, lamps, windows, couch, etc. all painted as if to make it look like the inside of a home. I assume this wall had been left to stand for a reason, but now it is gone too.

London's indigenous population comes in red and sometimes hangs out in pairs. If you see them, dont be alarmed, they are friendly and you can even step in and say hello.

This Is the other phonebox In this remote part of Scotland, the other being In Croggan about 8 miles away. I would consider them as a valuable lifeline as both are working and will continue to do so for sometime as I would Imagine signals for mobile phones are non existent In this part of the world
