Phoenix Cinema - screen 3 (the new screens are mirror images of each other), Leicester. Opened in 2009 and designed by Marsh:Grochowski Architects, the cinema replaced an earlier Phoenix Arts Centre in the city. It had two main cinemas plus a screening room and café with residential floors above. In January 2023 a large extension was opened increasing the café size, adding a gallery linked to the screening room, two further screens (each with 63 spacious seats), and a roof terrace.

The new China Phoenix TV building is a rare piece of creativity in the mindless landscape of Beijing buildings. The shape of the structure is both elegant and site specific. Holding a prominent corner next to Chao Yang Park the doughnut activates the street and meets the sky perfectly.
Like a bird that never dies, whose call marked the begining of time. As our sun will forever bring a new day, the Phoenix will be reborn from the dawn flames.
Tippy-Toe is looking a little distracted, there. Squirrel Girl imbued with the power of the Phoenix Force gives me pause, but the thought of Tippy-Toe wielding such power gives me the jeebies.

The 19,410-acre Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness is 120 miles southeast of Phoenix, Arizona in Graham and Pinal counties. The wilderness includes the 11-mile long Aravaipa Canyon, as well as, the surrounding tablelands and nine side canyons. Within the colorful 1,000-foot canyon walls, outstanding scenery, wildlife, and rich history are all protected. Seven species of native desert fish, desert bighorn sheep, and over 200 species of birds live among shady cottonwoods along the perennial waters of Aravaipa Creek.

This is one of the many of my faves from the flickr meet in Phoenix AZ. The detail on the leather here is great. This is a strap on a barrel on an old wagon from the pioneer days.
The phoenix is a mythical sacred firebird in ancient mythologies starting with the Egyptian, Phoenician and later the Greek Mythology.
It has a 600-800 year life-cycle, and near the end the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self.
The phoenix bird symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death.

Based on his appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Pros:
1. Very accurate to his appearance in ASM2
2.Printing on the front and back of the head and torso, arms, legs, side legs and full wrap around belt printing.
3.The printing is very clean and crisp with no errors whatsoever
4.The intricacy of the silver details within the eyes and over the dark blue just is just amazing and shows why this minifigure was the best minifigure of 2014.

This is an amazing figure and as I just mentioned my favorite figure of 2014 coming in just ahead of Christo's Little Arrow minifigure. I had been waiting for this figure since I pre-ordered it back in August and it was well worth the wait so obviously my rating for this figure gets a 10/10.
A big thanks must go out to Phoenix Customs for making such an amazing figure and I can't wait to see how The Curator figure comes out and I can't wait to see what figures you have planned for this year.
