Phoenix is a town in the middle of the desert fed by rivers and bathes in the sun. The hearty folks there hike in triple digits through thorns and rattlesnakes to take in the vast and wondrous views of the many surrounding peaks. Here a fly fisherman floats the Salt River beneath what they call a cloudy sky, I call it heaven. :)
Harris's hawks live in sparse woodland and semi-desert, as well as marshes (with some trees) in some parts of their range Harris's hawks are permanent residents and do not migrate. Important perches and nest supports are provided by scattered larger trees or other features , power poles, woodland edges, standing dead trees, live trees, and boulders, and saguaros
This is one of many very fine works of art painted on walls and buildings in the Roosevelt District (and others) area of Phoenix, Arizona. I actually like the textured effect given by painting on the concrete block walls. Sorry I do not know the artist, it was a drive around mini-tour of the streets of Phoenix Arizona.
Rising from the ashes of several fires, the derelict South Parade Pier at Southsea is now being renovated, and hopefully will regain its former glory as a notable pleasure pier on the south coast.

Epically so.
This is the teaser for a stopmotion film I actually started before The Taming of the Shrew in About Five Minutes, but I haven't finished it yet and schoolwork takes priority... ;)
I made this about a month ago, after getting a good 10 seconds of 20 FPS video tonight, I felt I deserved an upload.
Verily, I shall have the work in readiness at the 'pointed time, perchance before. :D
Enjoy, and please C&C! :)

This area including Vauxhall Motors in the distance used to be RAF Hooton during the war. You can still make out a part of the runway bottom right.

"We're under attack! Pilots get to your starfighters!"…or something :D
I decided to made simple custom pilot minifig (based of course on Rebels design in season's two premiere episode), how do you like it?
This gigantic sign way out in East Mesa probably assists many airline pilots to find their directions to the airport! :)
Have a pleasant weekend, everyone...
As some of you might know, Groove organized a photo contest again this year on the occasion of their Doll Carnival. The theme was "new beginning" or Nouvelle Ouverture.
Now the winners have been announced on their blog:

There was a public price, i.e. Visitors on site should select their favorite photo, and the Mango Park Award, in which the creator of Pullip herself selected the best photo.
All submissions were presented without any indication of the photographer's name, and Miss Park also did not know the names.
I won the Mango Park Award!!! I am SO excited, it's such an honour!!! <3
