He also explained the Corps of Engineers' role in issuing permits for developers or citizens who want to build projects on or near streams and wetlands. Regulatory Specialist Donald Hendrix showed the students a variety of animal items—snake skins, furs, deer antlers, and sharks teeth—to demonstrate the various animals and habitat within Georgia. Think the guys driving this one were serious as well. I didn't get a shot of the interior, however there was a 'gutted' grenade for a shift knob.
I have had my driving permit for a while, but I haven't been able to obtain my driver's license because every time I go home, there's always issues with the cars. During the end of my second year, transitioning to my third, my dad was supposed to come help me move apartments. However, he got called in to work and couldn't help me. After exploring some options, I then had to resort to my final, and scariest, option: driving a U-Haul. My friend (who has a license) accompanied me to the U-Haul station, and we were able to score the last vehicle available: a truck. My friend turned around, panicking, and stated: "i don't know how to drive a truck!" Thankfully, my dad had let me drive his truck a couple of times when I was in high school, and I prayed I remembered the basics. I drove through LA for my first time and even managed to parallel park, something I've never been able to accomplish before!

These days I continued to make photographic hay while the permit sun is shining since additional Covid-19 lockdowns seem to be looming. The target for last weekend was the R Pond complex starting south of Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park and continuing down to the Facebook Headquarters. This set of fallow salt ponds has always presented photographically interesting colors and textures – testimony to residual salt dating back to their production days. However, change is coming as the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project has construction underway in the area.
Sometime next year, Salt Pond R4 should be once again connected to the tides and this will start its slow transformation back into marshland. R4’s neighbor, Salt Pond R3 will be managed to provide a dry, exposed pond suitable for Snowy Plover habitat. These two ponds were once separated by a brine distribution canal. Construction is currently underway to fill that canal thus creating an impressively wide levee with a shallow slope facing R4.
The weather made this photo session doubly challenging due to an overcast sky and highly variable winds. After hiking out to the R3/R4 levee, I found myself in a dead calm. When the wind began to stir out of the north I was able to launch my 8.5-foot, lightweight Rokkaku and this marvel was able to lift the Canon M3 cradle in an almost imperceptible wind. Unfortunately, the wind continued to build and the 8.5-foot kite was considerably overpowered about 20 minutes into the photo session. The phrase “pulling like a mule” comes to mind as in these conditions the principal concern is kite spar failure, which might strand my camera gear somewhere downwind. So, I swapped out for the 7.5-foot Rokkaku at the southern end of the levee which, of course, prompted slack wind from the breeze gods. The answer here was waiting patiently for 15 minutes anticipating the return of the breeze. When it returned, I continued the photo session and by the time I walked back to the northern end of the levee the 7.5-foot kite was overpowered. Again the mule.
In terms of light, it was a predominantly overcast day with generous hints of smoke due to an inversion layer. Now and then, the sun would peek through a gap in the clouds and this was delightful. But, for the large part it was a hazy, sober light. I look forward to reshooting on a brighter day.

The OPA is available either preconfigured with a digital microscope camera, or an open system that facilitates customization. A set of 8 M2 tapped holes allows for the easy adaptation of any optical system onto the platform.
The digital microscope configuration includes a high resolution digital camera for capturing still images or video. The camera is mounted on a 2D positioning stage to adjust the field of view and focus; sample illumination is provided by the microscope’s 8 white LEDs.

La bicromía, consecuencia del uso de la piedra artificial y el ladrillo, las cúpulas cubiertas con escamas de zinc, la utilización libre del repertorio clasicista (columnas con capiteles corintios, guirnaldas, etc.), son algunos de los elementos característicos de Arroyo, cuya escultura, realizada por el escultor Luis Alonso, mira atentamente su obra desde la bocaplaza.
This is a photograph from the Rathkenny AC 5KM Road Race and Fun Run which was held in Rathkenny, Co. Meath, Ireland on Friday 21st August 2015 at 19:30. Rathkenny is a small rural village locality north of Navan, Co. Meath and between the towns of Slane and Kells in North Meath and close to the county borders of Co. Louth and Co. Meath. The race registration and post-race refreshments were hosted in Rathkenny community center. The race route started near the Community center and followed a route around some beautiful country roads and finishing up at Rathkenny GFC grounds. The race is an AAI permitted race and is part of the Meath AAI road race series. With the shortening evenings this race started at the slightly earlier time of 19:30. Just under 150 runners participated in the race.

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

A un mes de implementarse el programa BonoGas, que permite financiar la instalación interna de gas natural en los hogares, especialmente de escasos recursos económicos, se han beneficiado más de 300 familias de Lima y el Callao con esta medida.
Así lo anunció, el ministro de Energía y Minas, Gonzalo Tamayo Flores, en la inauguración de las primeras conexiones domiciliarias con este combustible, financiadas por BonoGas, ubicadas en el distrito de San Juan de Miraflores. Explicó que desde que se inicio este programa, a inicios de octubre, hay alrededor de 8,000 inscritos. De ellos, 1,500 ya están en proceso de conexión.
Con esta iniciativa, que se enmarca dentro de los 100 primeros días de gestión, el Gobierno busca impulsar la masificación del uso del gas natural no solo en Lima sino también en el interior del país a través de diversos proyectos que están próximos a culminar.
Cabe indicar que, para las familias con ingresos bajos, el financiamiento con BonoGas será al 100%. En tanto, a los hogares con ingresos medios-bajos se les financiará el 75% y los de ingresos medios el 50% en 10 años.
Durante la visita que realizó a los hogares que ya cuentan con dicho combustible, Tamayo Flores estuvo acompañado del presidente del Organismo Supervisor de la Inversión en Energía y Minería (OSINERGMIN), Jesús Tamayo Pacheco.
También informó que se está terminando de definir el diseño del BonoGNV, que financiará la conversión de vehículos a gas natural, lo que permitirá reducir el consumo de gasolina y gas licuado de petróleo (GLP). “Esta medida es consistente con las metas de sostenibilidad y el uso de las fuentes de energía abundantes del país”, refirió.
Tamayo Flores indicó que se usarán los fondos disponibles, que son cerca de 600 millones de soles, para la ejecución de obras de electrificación rural. A diciembre del 2016 se espera llegar al 81% de cobertura, la meta al 2021 es alcanzar el 99% de acceso universal del servicio de energía eléctrica.
Otra medida adoptada en los primeros 100 días, fue la reducción de las tarifas eléctricas, especialmente para las zonas rurales del interior del país, así como la revisión de los procedimientos administrativos, eliminando 16 trámites, que restaban agilidad y eficiencia al portafolio, refirió.

Since December an Italian group was made a no profit ass. and they’re trying to keep them alive with all his powers, but the first problem is that they need a safe zone where the dogs will wait their adoption withou any risk or dangerous conditions..so that they will bring the dogs here away from the hell just when thery are sure that someone with a huge heart will give them a home full of love..and of sure if someone will make a donation it will helps to create new “safe areas” and boxes for our little friends before they will get to the adoption family..

In this “perreras” when a pet is in the dead list (sometimes just few days after his arrives there ) they will torture the little puppies lettin they drink acid because there are too loud, they left all the animals without water or food, they cut them little pieces with knife etc etc.. in few words they are never using legal methods covered by law!!! Because the government doesn’t interest animals in spain!!! And then they throw the little screaming puppies into a hoven alive so that they can have more free room for other lovely puppies to torture without respect..

These days I continued to make photographic hay while the permit sun is shining since additional Covid-19 lockdowns seem to be looming. The target for last weekend was the R Pond complex starting south of Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park and continuing down to the Facebook Headquarters. This set of fallow salt ponds has always presented photographically interesting colors and textures – testimony to residual salt dating back to their production days. However, change is coming as the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project has construction underway in the area.
Sometime next year, Salt Pond R4 should be once again connected to the tides and this will start its slow transformation back into marshland. R4’s neighbor, Salt Pond R3 will be managed to provide a dry, exposed pond suitable for Snowy Plover habitat. These two ponds were once separated by a brine distribution canal. Construction is currently underway to fill that canal thus creating an impressively wide levee with a shallow slope facing R4.
The weather made this photo session doubly challenging due to an overcast sky and highly variable winds. After hiking out to the R3/R4 levee, I found myself in a dead calm. When the wind began to stir out of the north I was able to launch my 8.5-foot, lightweight Rokkaku and this marvel was able to lift the Canon M3 cradle in an almost imperceptible wind. Unfortunately, the wind continued to build and the 8.5-foot kite was considerably overpowered about 20 minutes into the photo session. The phrase “pulling like a mule” comes to mind as in these conditions the principal concern is kite spar failure, which might strand my camera gear somewhere downwind. So, I swapped out for the 7.5-foot Rokkaku at the southern end of the levee which, of course, prompted slack wind from the breeze gods. The answer here was waiting patiently for 15 minutes anticipating the return of the breeze. When it returned, I continued the photo session and by the time I walked back to the northern end of the levee the 7.5-foot kite was overpowered. Again the mule.
In terms of light, it was a predominantly overcast day with generous hints of smoke due to an inversion layer. Now and then, the sun would peek through a gap in the clouds and this was delightful. But, for the large part it was a hazy, sober light. I look forward to reshooting on a brighter day.

Dia 5 - 12/12/2008, sexta-feira.
Melissa, esperança. Douglas, exemplo.
“Caramba, meio-dia”. O sol refletia tão forte por detrás da cortina que eu imaginei ter perdido a hora, mas não, eram 7h da manhã. Logo pulei da cama e fui direto tomar um banho frio, pois o calor daqui lhe permite tomar esse tipo de atitude insana, que nem no verão do Rio. Sentia a água bater nos meus ombros e pensava sobre como foi linda a noite anterior com a apresentação do coral no parque. O espírito natalino fluia e colidia com o sereno que caia do céu. Mãos para o alto com os bastões iluminados, foi uma noite feliz. Noite Feliz foi a música que finalizou o espetáculo natalino que Blumenau fez e como jamais vi em nenhum outro lugar.
Saí do banho, chequei meus e-mail e fiquei satisfeito em saber que meu Diário foi destaque no clipping interno da empresa onde trabalho em São Paulo, na IBM, que tem mais de 12 mil funcionários no Brasil. Se eu conseguir tocar o coração de pelo menos 10 desses 12 mil funcionários, pra mim já justifica-se trocar boa parte da minha noite de sono o preparando. Dessas 10 pessoas, espero delas que reflitam sobre seus valores e sobre o tema Solidariedade, tão na moda no mundo de hoje, mas pouco colocado em prática de verdade.
Nove horas. Desço pra tomar um café-da-manhã reforçado e logo subo para escovar meus dentes e partir para mais um dia na Vila Germânica. Assim que chego lá, me deparo com aproximadamente 30 voluntários trabalhando no local. Na segunda-feira, dia 08/12, quando comecei meu trabalho, havia mais de 250 pessoas trabalhando no pavilhão. Essa turma está dando um exemplo de cidadania e garra. O trabalho é intenso e ninguém desanima, muito pelo contrário, parece que o desafio tornou-se maior, e todos ali estão na guerra de verdade, e para vencer. Precisamos de mais voluntários! O cansaço é visível nos gestos e olhares de cada um, em cada gota de suor que escorre pelo rosto e umidece a camisa. Enquanto parte do grupo trabalha, outra parte observa e descansa para repor as energias. “Água gelada, por favor”, grita algum dos voluntários, e vamos em frente, pois tem muito caminhão ainda chegando na Vila, e o melhor: hoje vi muito caminhão também saindo para os abrigos. No fim do dia, notei que os galpões estavam com menos donativos do que ontem, em especial a parte de alimentos. Como roupas e água são os itens que mais aparecem nos caminhões, esse estoque parece ter se mantido no mesmo nível dos últimos dias, o que quer dizer que as doações estão chegando a quem devem chegar! Confesso sentir uma maior satisfação ao carregar caminhões que estão levando doações do que descarregar aqueles que chegam com doações. Não que as chegadas de doações devam ser interrompidas ou tenham menos importância, mas é uma questão de pura satisfação pessoal, como se álguem estivesse falando no pé da sua orelha: “Leva logo isso, porque tem gente esperando!”.
Fiquei na dívida com vocês para esclarecer dois fatos: o primeiro refere-se ao motivo pelos professores da rede pública terem deixado a central de doações ontem. O segundo, trata-se do boato que correu sobre a necessidade de entregar o pavilhão da Vila Germânica nessa sexta-feira devido à realização de um evento no fim-de-semana.
Bem, quanto aos professores terem deixado a central, achei a justificativa hiper coerente. Devido à dificuldade com a logística na Vila Germânica, decidiram que grande parte dos caminhões partiriam para as escolas municipais e lá mesmo ocorreriam as triagens, o que resulta na redução do fluxo de doações a passarem pela triagem na central, que já está abarrotada de coisas, e assim agiliza o processo de entregas dos produtos aos desabrigados, já que os mesmos se deslocarão até essas escolas para buscarem os donativos. Achei uma ótima notícia.
Quanto à necessidade da entrega do pavilhão, isso, de fato, vai acontecer, porém, ainda sem data definida. Isso quer dizer que durante esse fim-de-semana muito trabalho ainda está pela frente. A necessidade de entrega do pavilhão é um tema muito polêmico por aqui, pois uns acreditam que seja importante liberar o espaço o mais rápido possível, uma vez que na Vila Germânica acontecem diversos eventos que resultam no aquecimento da economia local. Outros já pensam que é hora de dar prioridade às vítimas e deixar para resolver o problema da economia local mais pra frente. Bem, se perguntarem a minha opinião, ouvirão que acredito ser mais importante, nesse momento, a vida humana, que clama por comida, roupa e acolhimento, então eu acho que pelo menos até a próxima quarta-feira o espaço deve ser dedicado à central de doações. Mas, enfim, sabemos que existem muitas questões por trás, então prefiro não tornar o assunto mais polêmico do que já é. Finalizo meus comentários sobre esse assunto por aqui, mas lhes manterei atualizados sobre a questão.
Sobre o título do diário de hoje... “Melissa, esperança. Douglas, exemplo”.
Hoje conheci duas crianças que iluminaram o meu dia e me fizeram pensar sobre o valor da vida e a importância da solidariedade. Nós somos humanos. Ou a gente trata da gente ou o mundo logo, logo sofrerá com a extinção dessa espécie, pois não seremos capazes de sobreviver a catástrofes que já são esperadas pelos cientistas e pesquisadoras, como a falta d'água e de comida no planeta, por exemplo. Os nomes dessas crianças que imuminaram meu dia são Melissa e Douglas.
A Melissa é uma meninha de aproximadamente um aninho e poucos meses, a coisa mais fofa do mundo. Ela estava no colo de um rapaz e acompanhada pela sua mãe. Melissa é uma das vítimas das enchentes que caíram sobre Blumenau e estava lá à procura de donativos. Não resisti à emoção e pedi para tirar uma foto dela. Ela sorria e ficava doida para pegar a câmera da minha mão. Tirei a foto e a mostrei. Seus olhos brilhavam, enquanto os meus lacrimejam de emoção. Melissa me provocou um sentimento profundo de esperança.
O Douglas é um menino de 13 anos, morador de uma região de Blumenau que não foi atingida gravemente. Douglas é um exemplo para muitos adultos: como está de férias na escola, decidiu, por livre e espontânea vontade, que queria passar dias das suas férias ajudando como voluntário na Vila Germânica. O Douglas carrega caixas pesadas pra lá e pra cá e se diverte com tudo isso. A “brincadeira” preferida dele é o da fila indiana com as caixas de roupas. Ele ri, ele fala, ele quer participar, ele quer ajudar! Douglas é um exemplo pra você, Douglas é um exemplo pra mim. Pena que não há muitos Douglas por aí. Douglas não precisou parar de falar, ele simplesmente fez, antes mesmo de falar ou criticar qualquer coisa. Precisamos de gente que pare de falar e comece logo a fazer! É muita gente falando!!!
Amanhã nasce um novo dia. Que Deus proteja Melissa e Douglas, os heróis do nosso dia.
PS. Hoje tive a boa notícia que amanhã virão 250 voluntários de São Paulo para ajudar nos trabalhos, isso não é maravilhoso?

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers participated in the City of Savannah's annual Earth Day festival, Saturday, April 20 at Forsyth Park. This is the city’s largest environmental outreach event of the year, and the largest education event in conjunction with Earth Day in the state of Georgia. It provides an opportunity for local government, businesses, non-profits, and community groups to connect with the public and each other.
The Savannah District Regulatory Division staffed an exhibitor’s booth during the festival. The booth featured educational displays, an interactive wetland model, brochures, and other information about wetlands and permitting.

PJe-JT avança na RMS com instalação em Camaçari
A implantação do Processo Judicial Eletrônico da Justiça do Trabalho (PJe-JT) em Camaçari, que ocorreu em cerimônia conduzida pelo presidente do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 5ª Região (TRT5-BA), desembargador Valtércio de Oliveira, na tarde desta segunda-feira (29/9), permitirá uma maior uniformização de procedimentos pelos advogados que atuam na Região Metropolitana de Salvador (RMS). Até a última sexta-feira, o PJe era utilizado, na RMS, nas Varas do Trabalho de Salvador e de Candeias. Fora da região, funciona em Alagoinhas, Ilhéus, Itabuna e Santo Amaro. Até o fim do ano, será instalado em Feira de Santana, Senhor do Bonfim, Juazeiro, Vitória da Conquista e Itapetinga. Hoje, 55, das 88 varas, e todo o 2º Grau do Tribunal operam com o sistema, ou seja, só recebem novas ações via PJe. Em dezembro (ver cronograma abaixo) serão 67 varas.
A cerimônia de instalação em Camaçari, que aconteceu um dia após a comemoração dos 256 anos de independência política do município, teve início com a execução do Hino Nacional Brasileiro. Estavam presentes, além do presidente do TRT5, as desembargadoras Nélia Neves, vice-presidente do Tribunal, e Dalila Andrade, gestora regional do PJe-JT; o chefe do Ministério Público do Trabalho da 5ª Região, Alberto Balazeiro; o procurador do Estado Ruy Sérgio Deiró, representando o Governo da Bahia; o secretário de governo da Prefeitura, Sérgio Paiva; a presidente da Associação dos Magistrados da Justiça do Trabalho da 5ª Região (Amatra5), juiza Andréa Presas Rocha; o vice-presidente da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, Seção Bahia (OAB-BA), Fabrício de Castro Oliveira; e outras autoridades.
Em seguida ao Hino, o desembargador Valtércio de Oliveira e os juízes titulares das Varas do Trabalho de Camaçari, Fabrício Porto Magalhães, Benilton Brito Guimarães, Marília Sacramento e Ana Luisa Aguiar de Sousa, descerraram a placa comemorativa da Implantação do PJe-JT na cidade. Logo depois, a advogada Ana Lúcia Avena protocolizou a 1ª ação trabalhista que tramita no fórum sob o sistema, cujo número é 0010001.88.2014.5.05.0131 e teve a data da primeira audiência imediatamente marcada para 6/11/2014, às 8h30.
Em breves pronunciamentos, as magistradas Dalila Andrade, Andréa Presas Rocha e Marília Sacramento afirmaram que o PJe é um desafio que está sendo vencido por magistrados, advogados e servidores na Justiça do Trabalho. Esse empenho conjunto faz com que o futuro se concretize hoje no Judiciário Trabalhista e que, a cada dia, o sistema se aperfeiçoe com novas soluções. O secretário de governo Sérgio Paiva e o vice-presidente da OAB-BA, Fabrício de Castro Oliveira, também enalteceram a iniciativa, sendo que o primeiro apresentou demanda para a criação de uma 5ª Vara do Trabalho em Camaçari, e, o segundo, por melhorias no PJe.
Falando em seguida, o presidente Valtércio de Oliveira destacou o desempenho econômico da região e explicou que vem buscando, junto ao Tribunal Superior do Trabalho e às lideranças políticas baianas em Brasília, a criação de novas varas para o TRT5, inclusive para Camaçari, bem como recursos para instalações prediais. 'Não tenham medo do PJe. Onde o sistema foi instalado, ele já se comprovou como de grande utilidade. Nós devemos aceitar a mudança, o novo, e o novo está incorporado neste projeto que é de toda a Justiça do Trabalho, que é nacional, e que vem dando certo', concluiu.
Também participaram da solenidade os juízes substitutos Ariane Xavier Ferrari, Alexei Almeida e Luciano Berenstein de Azevedo, que atuam na jurisdição, a diretora do Fórum de Justiça de Camaçari, juíza Mariana Deiró, e a presidente da subseção local da OAB, Kalinka Campos Castro.
FUNCIONAMENTO - A partir desta segunda, todos os processos nas Varas de Camaçari serão autuados no sistema PJe-JT. O uso de papel se restringirá às ações antigas. O sistema já é reconhecido pela interface amigável, permitindo uma ótima visão do fluxo de procedimentos. Além disso, vem promovendo mudanças em toda a estrutura da Justiça do Trabalho, uma vez que extingue tarefas como carimbar e manusear a papelada. Isso traz vantagens para os cofres públicos, para o meio ambiente e para a saúde de quem lidava com a burocracia. O sistema também representa mais celeridade na prestação jurisdicional e mais comodidade no acesso ao Judiciário. Há aproximadamente um ano, foi concluída uma reforma no Fórum de Camaçari que ampliou as secretarias das Varas, implantou novo mobiliário e melhorias na rede elétrica e hidráulica, além de outras benfeitorias, e preparou o prédio para uma melhor prestação jurisdicional, inclusive a instalação do PJe. Ainda com relação ao sistema, foi criada neste mês de setembro uma sala de autoatendimento com dois computadores, que ficarão à disposição dos usuários do Processo Eletrônico.
JURISDIÇÃO - Camaçari tem atualmente 276 mil habitantes e conta com quatro Varas do Trabalho. A jurisdição local da Justiça do Trabalho abrange o respectivo município e os de Dias D'Ávila e Mata de São João. A 1ª Vara foi criada em 1978; a 2ª, em 1986; a 3ª, em 1989; e a 4ª, 1992. Assentada sobre uma área caracterizada por grande produção industrial, inclusive de derivados de petróleo e automobilística, tem uma movimentação processual de 6 mil novas ações trabalhistas por ano. Este número deve ser ampliado com a implantação constante de novos empreendimentos na cidade, como a fábrica da Boticário, inaugurada no último dia 16, a fábrica da JAC Motors, a ser construída a partir de outubro, e o condomínio industrial e logístico BA 51, em construção no bairro Copec, este último com potencial de investimento de até R$ 350 milhões.

Un paseo por el barrio donde nació, pintó y desarrolló sus primeros conocimientos
De exterior en exterior
Entre Soria y Bilbao, se unieron dos apellidos y dos formas de entendimiento. La visión del abuelo Jorge García Vellosillo, que por medio de un carromato llegó a la segunda ciudad, permite observar la evolución de la sociedad y paso de los años en muy poco tiempo. Quizás del siglo XX al XXI no nos separa sólo la fotografía en Blanco y Negro, sino una serie de cambios en el uso de los medios de comunicación que hacen que nos fijemos en la red como si hubiese estado siempre para quedarse. García Ergüin, en el último paseo realizado, nos enseñó la casa donde nació, la Escuela Cervantes o uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Bilbao: el Café Iruña. Además, en un día lluvioso, la Calle Iparraguirre y Mazarredo son dos lugares de paso obligado, porque son numerosos los recuerdos de una zona en la que el pintor se ha sentido como en casa, a pesar de los diferentes viajes realizados. En esa cronología, que estamos realizando gracias a las diapositivas de las diferentes exposiciones, análisis de imágenes en papel o el estudio de la obra, cuadro por cuadro, el origen marca una serie de acontecimientos que son de interés y que marcan el compás del tiempo.
Los estudios en los que Iñaki García Ergüin se ha sentido como en casa cambiaron con la evolución del propio pintor, que pintó sus primeros esbozos y bocetos en la calle, con tan sólo 14 años de edad, hasta que miró por su arte trasladando sus utensilios y herramientas de trabajo a la Calle María Muñoz. En poco tiempo, la Calle Gran Vía de Bilbao fue el segundo lugar seleccionado para seguir investigando en el arte de la pintura, con calma y espacio, donde el creador empezó a dar forma a sus cuadros denominados “primitivos”, que sintetizan algunos exteriores de Cuenca, Castilla, Guajasierra, Castro Urdiales, Bermeo o Portugalete, con los bodegones de época, de dificultad añadida por el juego de luces y uso del color.
En la Calle Mazarredo, los placeres y los días, se esfumaban con los viajes por Europa y las exposiciones realizadas en Madrid, ya que los premios llegaron a finales de la década de los cincuenta y los críticos vieron en la figura de Ergüin una promesa capaz de buscar temáticas diferentes para lograr consolidar un estilo propio, original y con marca auténtica que dejará al resto de autores y coetáneos su propio refugio. París, Bad Aibling (Alemania) o las propias localidades cercanas a Bilbao dieron una visión de exterior a un joven artista que recibía las clases de la mano de José de Lorenzo Solís en la escuela, al lado de otros compañeros de profesión.
La infancia, marcada por el transcurso de la Guerra Civil Española (1936-1939) y la evolución de la contienda, sobre todo las noticias de la II Guerra Mundial, crean una generación de niños que crecen con el sonido de las bombas, la falta de alimentos de primera necesidad y los “juegos de guerra” en la calle, entre bandas rivales que provenían de los distintos barrios. Para García Ergüin la pintura, como tal, los primeros juguetes y la posibilidad de participar junto a otros niños, se “basaba en la propia definición de las cosas, la creación de juegos y juguetes, así como por medio del uso de la imaginación. Las tizas, como recuerdo en el tiempo presente, son la extensión de la mente y de la mano con la que realizamos los primeros esbozos en la carretera”.
El monte Urkiola, Bermeo o Archanda quedan en un pasado que sigue vigente en la cabeza del autor con más de 5.000 obras a lo largo de una trayectoria profesional significativa, donde con “poco se hacía mucho”. En el viaje realizado a finales del mes de noviembre, el Café Iruña, uno de los sitios más emblemáticos de la ciudad y al lado de los Jardines de Albia, es una de las paradas obligadas de una ruta personalizada por Ergüin, que descubre el barrio que le vio crecer a él y sus dos hermanos. De misma estatura, con sensibilidad y compartiendo las preocupaciones de la época, en el interior del café se relatan numerosas aventuras del pasado, de los primeros éxitos en las exposiciones de Madrid y Bilbao, así como de aquellos sermones de los padres cuando había poco que llevarse a la boca.
Al lado de un plato de jamón, la selección de una serie de productos de excelente calidad y un café con leche –en el caso de Ergüin solo-, las imágenes de exteriores nos permiten ver la decoración preciosista de un lugar que ha contado con los mejores productos de cada región. La Alameda de Mazarredo hasta llegar a la Calle Iparraguirre hace que busquemos cobijo con las primeras gotas de lluvia, hasta llegar al portal y seguir con las fotografías de una casa que fue el lugar de nacimiento del pintor.
El paso por la Escuela Cervantes, después de aquella simulación de paseo por en medio de la calzada realizada por el padre del artista (León) en los cincuenta, hacen que giremos sobre nuestros pasos para ver y observar aquella terraza de la Calle de Mazarredo, dejando atrás los sonidos de aquellos pájaros que nos llegan del interior del colegio de al lado. Por otra parte, contrastando las épocas, la etapa de Madrid ha permitido el desarrollo profesional de García Ergüin que disfrutó de su propio estudio en la Calle Velázquez, Nº54, aunque esas fotografías se realizarán en los próximos viajes y paradas del recorrido sobre la vida del pintor. Con la idea de finalizar un episodio, y la lluvia encima, la vuelta al análisis de la obra cumplió dos facetas. Una, que es notoria, es la consolidación de un fondo artístico que saldrá a la luz en 2013, y la otra, que es importante, es la definición de una persona capaz de adaptar su idea a cualquier tipo de formato para materializarla en obra. Así de sencillo.
