Photographed December 1997 / Canon F1-N 35mm film camera with Canon FD 35mm/2 lens (probably). Film was ILFORD FP4+ metered ASA 80 developed in ILFORD PERCEPTOL (1+3, 15min, 20*C). Negative was scanned in a JUMBL scanner box unit and the image was processed & finished in Flickr. A negative which has been sleeping for the past 22 years now scanned and revealed for the first time in Flickr.

Passejant per Cadaqués, varem trobar aquest veler embarrancat a Sa Conca. A saber què va passar, però el patró voltava per allà, devastat.

While walking arround the beaches of Cadaqués, in the Catalan Costa Brava, we found this boat, obviously run aground. The owner stood nearby, devastated.

La ciutat anglesa de Bath té tant el nom com la raó de ser en la seva font d'aigues termals, venerada ja des d'època pre-romana. En època imperial es coneixia com Aquae Sulis. Talment com les catalanes Caldes de Montbui o Caldes de Malavella (ambdues anomenades Aquae Calidae en època romana).
De fet, les tres poblacions comparteixen sorgencia termal i ruines de les piscines on els romans aprofitaven aquestes aigues. Com podeu comprovar, el model general era força similar.

The English city of Bath has both its name and its raison d'être in its source of thermal waters, revered since pre-Roman times. In imperial times it was known as Aquae Sulis. Just like the Catalan Caldes de Montbui or Caldes de Malavella (both called Aquae Calidae in Roman times).

In fact, the three towns share a thermal spring and the ruins of the pools where the Romans used these waters. As you can see, the overall pattern was quite similar.

Fix for 8 mins with periodic inversions (~ every 1 min)

Final rinse with wetting agent
