2.Positive-More brain food for those people who carry coins around with them, for those who don’t, well it could be considered a negative when you see all your class mates having Cherry Ripes and you’re stuck listening to the lecture.
35 cm x 56 cm Multimedia collage composed of acrylic paint, paper and gel pen. It was created through inverting, resizing, printing, tearing apart and putting together one composition of faces and hands.
“Perception” portrays how some may feel estranged from familiar settings amidst dissociative episodes.
The reflections in the glass panes sharpen the symetry of this doorway. Really like the curves accenting the square lines.
I took this photo to make it look like Colin was balancing on Aleah's hand. I had to crop Vic out because it did not look like he was on her hand. I wish I would have had a plain background so there would not have been a lot of distractions like the man in the back. I used a shutter speed of 1/10 and it should have been a little faster to let in more light. I used an ISO of 100 and an aperture of f/18.

The topic 'Human Perception' is what I've chosen to study in Studio Arts this year. This is made from one photograph of me, just flipped around. It's to represent the two contrasting sides of how we can be percieved. There is this feminine beauty that so many of us live up to, the stereotypical features, which is what the left side would hopefully represent. The right side is a more down-to-earth, realistic view on somebody.
The stones on this ancient North American site do not fall into a category mirroring tooling techniques of our Ancient Indigenous peoples of North America. I do not recall seeing or observing the images and pigments on any level when these stones were first pulled from the ground and exposed. The real journey of learning how to read and understand the messaging system practiced by this ancient culture has been finding repeating patterns, and establishing structural forms within the images. The process to understand these stones begins with establishing order by considering the premise that these stones may represent a narrative relating to our galaxy, and not only our earth. The technologies and the ability of this ancient culture to manipulate the perception of the images found on these stones using light as the fourth dimension; integrating moisture and temperature fluctuations guiding the intensity and movement of pigments affected by the constantly moving angle of the sun has been the real journey. The intensity of the sun throughout its daily passage across our horizon from sunrise to sunset is the key to understanding the hidden technologies within these stones and this culture.
The symbol in the upper right quadrant on the surface of this stone is two parts: the individual culture bearing the pyramidal dome on his head identifying the source of the stones on this site. This figure is paired with an oblong repeating symbol most likely representing the outer shape and physical domain of this culture who came to our world within our deep past.
The elemental image system presented in the lower left quadrant represents three parts; and most likely the three parts/sections of our vast galaxy:
1. The upper white quartz level gleaming in light far beyond what we have ever known or experienced. This upper level of light and quartz-filled is the level of our galaxy that brought us our world, and have been here in our world from the very beginning.
2. The second/middle level is the heart of the level where our solar system, sun, and earth circulate and rotate within the grand celestial mass known to us as the grand Milky Way Galaxy.
3. The final layer eminates with blue light in the lower-outer perimeter of our Galaxy; as shown with the blue light echo. The blue region of our Galaxy is less of a solid mass as the two upper regions; this is the region where the blue beings come from, finalizing the concept of "As Above, So Below".
