An angana (front yard) wet from an overnight storm glistens in the early morning Sun.
(HDR: 0,+-2/3, aligned with HuginOSX and combined with photomatix. This is a triumph for the HDR technique, because all the individual shots look almost b+w. photomatix pulled out the true colours despite the glare.)

The smoothness of the water in front makes the identity of sky and water slightly confusing and abstracts the reality of the branch and its reflection, I think.

After studying and sketching animals, I often use my photos as reference to complete the final study.
I now need to wear glasses when working and came back from a break looking everywhere for them...here is where they were!

Chief of Police Frank Fowler speaks to residents about crime and gun violence statistics during a community dialogue organized by the brothers of Prince Hall Masonic Temple on Oct. 18. At the discussion, “Improving
Perceptions Between Police & The Community,” Fowler said that while crime in the city is down, shots fired and murder incidents are up. He said residents can help police by reporting criminal activity and by communicating constructively.
“I may be a lot of things,
but clairvoyant, I am not,” Fowler told the group.
