Picked up these “Date Books” by Determined Productions last year. Most feature phototype revivals of wood type, as was popular in the 1960s–70s. I also have a bunch of their small square cookbooks and Peanuts books. Will post soon.
I was sitting at my laptop on the kirtchen table with the door opened slightly so i could catch some shots of Mr. P. is he came along..and along he came...and IN he came....looked around and headed over to the peanut container and helped himself! he did this several times until i had to scoot him away when missy woke from her nap and cam into the kitchen. I just feel i could reach out and pat him but I am not sure if would scare him and he has such sharp teeth and claws... :-)

I know this is an illegal off season post, but I was excited to thank Eartha for telling me about this...last May? we were at Target Sunday looking at the Halloween stuff and at the last minute I remembered she had told me about this shower curtain. I didn't expect it to still be there after all this time but there it was!

Scrub Jays are easy to train. Just set a few peanuts out at the same time every day and it doesn't take long for them to get the idea. I think I gave them 100 lbs in a year. The next year, I spent all my time picking peanuts off the roof, from under rocks, out of rain gutters and picking up shells the dogs had found. Jays don't like you taking their hidden stash!

Due to cold weather in Lubbock recently, I haven't been outside much this week. But I made up for lost time by walking the dog today. While the dog and I were going through the neighborhood, I saw this Halloween decoration of Sally from the Peanuts comics.
Charlie was the only one out today for peanuts! Lucky guy! He's even cuter in the lightbox! Is anyone else having serious issues with Flickr tonight...or is it just me? I cannot open any groups.

Here's one from the critter cam! A black morph Grey Squirrel! She is a daily visitor to our feeders where we always make sure that there's some peanuts out for her. Three of her offspring also come over and it becomes quite entertaining watching them chase each other around the yard! Check out those claws! If you look close you can see our house reflected in her eyes!
Once or twice a week I put out peanuts for the squirrels and chipmunks. It's meant to be a treat, not their sole source of nourishment.

Muffin the Squirrel just made it into Explore!!!! :) Ya gotta just love that sweet face. She was only about two feet from me when I took this.
Love this happy groovy deck of cards,I of course took one to put on the wall in my Peanuts display. Thanks Mary!

I bought this Peanuts bedding from TJ Maxx back in December. I think that nearly everyone would agree with the message on these sheets. We all like naps.
