Picked up these “Date Books” by Determined Productions last year. Most feature phototype revivals of wood type, as was popular in the 1960s–70s. I also have a bunch of their small square cookbooks and Peanuts books. Will post soon.
2 different styles but same theme: personalised Peanuts pictures!
With this version, I drew the figures of us three in pen and then scanned it to the computer, where I coloured it in on Photoshop.
Mary's Peanut's Christmas display, 2012. The new Sony RX100 has a neat auto-pan feature; you just sweep left to right and it takes 12-20 pictures and stitches them together automatically. I always welcome something that simplifies my workflow!
I have always loved Peanuts. My Dad had old collections of them that I kept in my room and read when I wanted to feel better.

Here in Kingaroy are massive silos storing our future peanut paste and peanut butter. Australia processes some 60000 tonnes of peanuts annually, 90% grown in Queensland. The Peanut Company of Australia runs this processing facility in the middle of town supplying great tasting peanuts, peanut oil and the peanut ingredients for snack foods, peanut butter and paste etc. Each of these three buildings house 31 silos (total 63) each holding 200 tonnes of peanuts and there are another 36 bins holding 100 tonnes each, that’s a lot of nuts. The silos are 42 metres high, the first being started in 1938.
The Flickr Lounge-Tell A Story
They were having a squabble (as usual) over the peanuts but the blue jay on the right managed to grab a peanut before getting pecked.
I've been recording the squirrels up in the wood by my swing on a big old Scots Pine. I've been doing it since spring but that was on a trail camera of which the footage was out of focus and silent. I knew they were coming in for the peanuts just minutes after we'd left so I started to put the GoPro up there as the quality of the footage is brilliant and you get sound too. The only trouble is that it only records for 1 hour before the battery dies out and there's no sensor so it just keeps recording. I've been lucky enough to capture a few clips now and look forward to sharing them. Its the first time I've actually been able to hear them and they're so cute. I know of one female who had young in spring and maybe two males, one with tufts on its ears and one without. They squabble sometimes but never seem to hurt each other.
Peanuts is the other little critter sharing the aquarium with Roscoe. They are both girls but, were named before anyone knew that, so, they were given a purple wheel to run in. It was decided that the names would remain the same. They don't seem to mind.

More than half of all the snack nuts consumed in the United States annually are peanuts -- and salted, roasted peanuts are one of the most popular choices, according to 2013 information provided National Peanut Board. A 1-ounce serving of roasted peanuts -- about 32 nuts -- is rich in protein and essential vitamins and minerals such as niacin, copper and manganese. However, oil-roasted peanuts can be high in total and saturated fat. They also contain a large amount of sodium. When you're making salted, roasted peanuts at home, dry-roast them without oil and go light on the salt for a low-fat, low-sodium snack.

I've been playing around lately with this old 50mm manual focus lens...a Pentax-A 50/1.4. I really like the way it way it renders colors. Also, I did something totally geeky a while back, which was to install a nice focusing screen on my Pentax K5 that makes it much easier to reliably manually focus...I have to say, it is an improvement.
