Just a few from my collection over the years some found and some brought , to me all beautiful.

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Flirty Frames" stamp and dies, and many different thank you stamps including "Critters in the Forest," "Blue Skies," "Home Sweet Home," "Good Fortune," and several of the complimentary thanks stamps from Lawn Fawn orders. Working on a Sheath dress pattern that can be made from non-stretchy material I HATE sewing stretchy stuff, not to mention you can find the best tiny prints in calico cottons. Its looking pretty good... you can give it a try if you'd like. The pattern is on Shannanigan's Doll Modding (mis)Adventures
P.S. This Frankie was my first attempt at removing a head. Obviously it did not go well... so now she is my mannequin!
A discarded avocado seed started to sprout in the compost. It has now survived the winter but I had to bring it indoors. This leaf fell off today so I had to memorialize it.
This is just a variation of a previous pattern with 1x1 plates between the headlight bricks in each square. I was just curious tosee what would happen. I think there are too many lines going every which way, but it might be a nice effect if it were monochromatic...

Rainy weather patterns and reflections seen across the Sculpture terrace, stairs and walkways on the facade of the Centre Pompidou. This photo was taken through a fine mesh blind - adding to the complexity of the patterns. Paris. March 08

I always like the surface patterns on invertebrates. This one looks like a labyrinth.

"Long summer days choked with wildfire haze has made this the smokiest summer on record in Alberta's biggest cities.
Environment Canada data shows Edmonton and Calgary have set new records for "smoke hours," which are counted when the haze becomes particularly thick, reducing visibility along the horizon to 9.7 kilometres or less.
Records on smoke hours have been kept for more than 70 years. The previous record for both Edmonton and Calgary was set in 2018.
Between May and September of that year, Edmonton recorded 229 smoke hours. Calgary recorded 450 smoke hours during the same time frame.
This year, as of Sunday (3 September 2023), Edmonton has recorded 244 smoke hours. Calgary has recorded 464 smoke hours so far this summer.
The totals for both cities are expected to rise as smoke continues to drift in from wildfires burning in B.C. and the north." From The Weather Network, 4 September 2023.

"A friend told me about a display of fungi near Fish Creek Park last year, so of course I had to go and check it out : ) Taken on 29 June 2012, near the edge of the eastern end of the park. Wish I knew what kind of mushrooms these are - I love the patterns that form on the top surface of the caps. They look so much like some of the Easter Hot Cross Buns that I buy.
Any chance that these could be Cracked-Cap Mushroom / Agrocybe dura? Apparently, they are very common in wood mulch, which fits with my photo."
