A breathtaking aerial shot of the geothermal area at Námaskarð, Iceland. The surreal mix of colors and patterns showcases the planet's untamed energy, with mineral deposits and steam vents forming a mesmerizing natural artwork.

Hello!

So.. this is me attempting a comeback!

I've been away from flickr for a month.........A MONTH!!!!

Its liberating in a way.. but i miss it!

How have you been?

I promise I'll try to upload more often, and as soon as i can I'll be looking at all the things I've missed on your streams! :D

Oh! and i have news! i have a new website! Just click!! :)

This will be my last upload for a few days as I've now run out of new stuff! Plus we're away this weekend, and the forecast isn't that great so it might be a while before I'm able to upload anything new. But I shall keep looking at all your lovely shots and leaving some comments.

So it was out into my back garden as the little pink weed is back again! This was taken using my nifty fifty and the good old Raynox DCR250 and my homemade flash diffuser :-)

Thanks for taking the time to visit. Any comments or faves are appreciated

I really like to see patterns in nature. It fascinates me. I think I was first switched on to it when I saw a film called "pi" a long time ago. Weird film, but it started an interest, which is always good.

Lying on my back, just before sunrise on Sunday morning, on the Sussex Downs, trying to line up everything so it was symmetrical, I think I managed it but I'm sure someone will let me know if not! Pylons are part of the countryside scenery in some parts of the Downs.

Happy Arachtober 27th!

It's a merry day in the meadow, with cute flowers, charming children, plus a little chaos and destruction.

I worked on this cross-stitch pattern back in January, when springtime was a far-off fantasy. I'm so happy it's finally here!

Thanks for all of your comments, faves, and invites. I appreciate them!

I know, this has been done before. And better too. For the real stuff, take a look at Michael Wolf’s Architecture of Density series.

I like this photo because everybody wants to be Michael Wolf for a day.
