US Foreign Affairs Officer Danna Van Brandt was wonderful enough to organize a small dinner party to introduce the GSMP participants to other women who are making a difference through sports in Sao Paulo.

Mood: The mood is relaxing and serene. The colors and scenery just bring a type of serenity to the person observing the painting. The backlit aspect provides the painting with appeal and beauty as it brings out the sunset and the flowers on the ground.
Techniques: The artist layered colors in order to create a depth in the sky. The artist also uses many different colors to give it a three dimensional effect.
...they are more attractive when seen together. The colors of a peacock and a peahen are complimentary adding to the glamor.

Departures StoryShare is an ongoing series of community recording events aimed at capturing the stories of individuals who have strong personal memories and history attached to their neighborhoods. Our goal is to create a collective narrative cartography of neighborhood stories by exposing the subjective and personal history through the eyes of community members.
