Tired eyes.
I did not get home from work until 2:30 a.m. this morning. Then I could not fall asleep for about a half hour.
I was up at 7 a.m.
I am not sure this job is going to work out. I have had no *real* training. It's a free for all over there.
On Saturday ,I talked to someone about my hours. I told them I could work Mon, Wed, Fri and Saturdays.
I also put in a request to have THIS Wed off.
Last night I went in the computer to check my hours. I am schdeuled for Tuesday!? Ugh.... I tried to explain the situtaion to the night manager and he looked at me like I had two heads. I left a note and e-mail for the guy who hired me. Who knows if he will get either message. I just know I won't be there tonight or Wed.

High school students from throughout the state participate in Jump Start, a three week career development program for students who are blind or severely visually impaired. The program is sponsored by the Department of Human Services Division of Services for the Blind (DSB) and the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ASBVI). DSB placed students in part-time jobs in the mornings and paid them minimum wage. Students participated in educational and recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings. Students stayed during the week on campus at ASBVI. The program is designed to assist students in transitioning from high school to employment or post-secondary education and increase their confidence in social situations.

The north state was to be sunny/smoky (due to wildfires) with slightly above normal temps at this time. By Wednesday thru the upcoming weekend, Northern California was to be mostly clear/smoky with temps cooling to near normal by Thursday & Friday. Pray for rain!

I got a menial part time job at a restaurant on the dock. Mostly I work in the back pulling mussels from shells. Its often around this time I space out and start hallucinating things. Rabbits. Everything I see turns to rabbits. I feel like Elwood only a lot more popular. They greet me every day, a pack of pookas hopping and fluttering about. They have often gotten me in trouble. I struggle to stay in this world and in theres at the same time. I just wish people could see them. I once wished the little rabbits to go away but I realized I'd be trading them for normalcy. Now I just have to figure out how to introduce them without seeming nuts. What would Jimmy Stewart do?
