Suspended over the precast concrete structure, a louvered shade screen veils the building from the street and creates privacy for the adjacent patient rooms. Made of over four thousand extruded aluminum fins, each blade is rotated at a distinct angle designed to reflect light inside the structure and create a gentle textured facade above the street.

Dick Weiss, a renown Pacific Northwest stained glass artist who has been on faculty at famed Pilchuck Glass School, was commissioned to create this curved multistory art window installed on Seattle Center's new grass-roofed green parking structure, built as the first phase of the Bill & Milinda Gates Foundation headquarters project next to Seattle Center. The colors and workmanship on this huge work are phenominal, and very striking at night. The grass roof on this multi story parking structure is the largest of its kind in Seattle. The Gates Foundation campus under construction on the adjoining lot hopes to be certified LEED Gold when completed in 2011.
Matte black on a Nissan GT-R. It's actually silver and matte black. Sorry for the bad quality (taken with my phone), but I thought this shot was kinda cool
