I love this beautiful building! This is from a walk I went on recently, one of many really. I particularly liked the color contrast between the sky and sign on this night so I had to take this.

more recognisable to me anyway plaxton paramount bodied leyland tiger, i would still consider this a modern coach although its almost 30 years ago when it was new !

Seeing these left me feeling rather old as it only seems like yesterday that I recorded my first new one! 3 Paramounts laid to restin a corner of the yard.I'm sure that D589 MWR came from Roberts,Burry Port though am unsure on the other two.

The Paramount Theatre was a noted 3,664 seat movie palace located at 43rd Street and Broadway in the Times Square district of New York City. Opened in 1926, it was a premiere showcase theatre and New York headquarters of Paramount Pictures. Adolph Zukor, founder of Paramount predecessor Famous Players Film Company, maintained an office in the building until his death in 1976. The Paramount Theatre eventually became a popular live performance venue. The theater was closed in 1964 and its space converted to office and retail use. The tower which housed it, known as the Paramount Building located at 1501 Broadway, is in commercial use as an office building and is still home to Paramount Pictures offices, and remains a Times Square landmark.

Opened in 1932 as the 1700-seat Paramount movie theater, one of the first in Boston equipped for sound, it is now a performing arts venue for Emerson College.

did a Fun Friday Photo walk, after a long week sometimes a couple beers work and sometimes a solo photo walk works...

OK no towering mountain peak, but those clouds jump off the screen like those in Paramount Pictures opening credit logo. The newly risen sun was still burning off thick cloud cover and this scene screamed polarizer.

I used my circular polarizer but the clouds cried out, more polarizer, we need more polarizer! So I went full Christoper Walken cowbell fever/polarizer and put on my Cokin Blue/Yellow polarizer.

You can't have too much cowbell, but can you have too much polarizer? Probably, but I still like the effect and that is what was paramount!

Daf SB2300DHS585 / Plaxton Paramount 3200 C53F. This coach started life as A272KEL with Explorer, Croydon before passing to Banstead Coaches. It then went to Fleet Coaches (where it received the 149GJF mark) before joining Semmence in Wymondham. Here, the very pleasant staff have pulled the coach forward for me to take a shot of it at its depot in May 2001.

Annie's Paramount Steakhouse began as the Paramount Restaurant, a block south of its current location, in 1948. This matchbook cover is probably from the 1980s.

This is a Grey Green liveried Plaxton Paramount model, which I got given for free in 2017 when it remained unsold at the end of a model event. It was being offered as a Code 3 owing to the fact it had school bus sign decals applied front and rear, and some dots of paint on the rear lights.

My original plan was for it to become part of the RB fleet, but I couldn't think of a use for an old coach like this. What eventually happened to it was... absolutely nothing at all. A year or two later I picked up another Paramount on the cheap, thinking that if I had two then there would be some useful role for them at Robertson Buses. And just like that I had two Paramounts which I then did nothing with.

At the moment, both of them are still in the model bus equivalent of purgatory. At the moment I'm either going to attempt to convert both into a newer type of Plaxton (Panther or whichever one I'm thinking of), or rob them for their chassis to scratchbuild some other kind of bus on top.

With the LEZ in force in Wembley, you don't see too many Plaxton Paramounts there nowadays but a Sheffield operator sent Volvo B10M-60 Expressliner G105 ETJ for the Hull v Sheffield United game on Sunday 13th April, 2014.

The very late afternoon sun shines its beautiful light on the hillside casts beautiful yellow color while the dormant oak tree in the forground is about to burst forth with the first leaves of spring. This was taken on the roadside just northeast of the boundary of the Paramount Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains near Agoura Hills, California.
