Parked outside were a Ford F-150 from model years 1997-2003 and a GMC Yukon XL from model years 2000-2006.

The house and vehicles were all absurdly exuberantly ornamented. No I'm just kidding, only the house was.

My picture was beautifully composed. No I'm just kidding, the composition was clumsy and uninspired.

In downtown Eaton, Ohio, on September 8th, 2025, was a house at the northwest corner of North Barron Street (U.S. Route 127) and West High Street.

According to its property record on the Preble County auditor's website, it was built in 1876, and as of 2025 was an apartment building ("APTS 4+ UNITS: 575-624.99 MONTHLY RENT") owned by Harvest Hill Enterprises LLC of Hamilton, Ohio.

This creation combines gables with a mansard. There is a date stone above the door: "Joseph C. Del Grosso, circa-1981, 2524 Pine Ave."

The building's record in the Niagara County Property Record Online System says the building was completed in 1982. Based on my experience with some fishy records in this database, that could be true, or 1982 could be the year that the building last underwent a major remodel or expansion. For example, the record describes the building as two one-story buildings, each occupying an area of identical size. Maybe what actually happened in 1982 is an older building was given a new façade and a new second story?

Anyway, "Nineteen hundred eighty two, a gable roof with mansard. Paint its wooden shingles pink and all your prayers are answered."

"1947 E. Dal Porto" reads the datestone at the top of the building. Chrysler 200s were manufactured in Sterling Heights, Michigan, for model years 2011-2017, and then discontinued.
