Parallels Automation program manager Jan-Hendrik Benter presented a session at the Parallels Summit called "Build vs Buy. Why have you built an in-house billing system," in which he described how companies can improve operations and business processes by implementing Parallels Business Automation.

An opening was held for L&C Alumna Kaleigh Grace's (Class of 2021) "Intimate Parallels" solo photography exhibition at Picture This And More in Alton, Friday, June 25, 2021.
I put this photo on here for bhenkk, even though it was from the year 2000, because of her beautiful portrait of her daughter reading Harry Potter. These are two first cousins who got the book on the same day and read it in less than 24 hours, side by side.
I just loved their parallel poses, although they did not know I was taking their picture.
This is just a photo I took of a photo I took. But it isn't the quality of the photography I like, it is that long day of reading, seeing my daughter and her cousin spending the day together doing the exact same thing in perfect harmony.

Identification marker for this parallel, starting at the Prime Meridian and heading eastwards, a circle of latitude 50 degrees north of the Earth's equatorial plane, that crosses Europe, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, North America (Canada), and the Atlantic Ocean, and also runs in Mainz through the Cathedral and Gutenberg Square – at this latitude the sun is visible for 16 hours, 22 minutes during the summer solstice and 8 hours, 4 minutes during the winter solstice – on June 21, the maximum altitude of the sun is 63.83 degrees, and on December 21 it is 16.17 degrees
To all who visit and view, and – especially – express support and satisfaction: you are much appreciated!
Wiesbadens südlichster Stadtteil ist Kostheim: bisher weitgehend unbeachtet verläuft quer durch den Hof dieses Hauses auch der fünfzigste Grad nördlicher Breite

Album Description –
Maaraue & Mechthildshausen, Germany – 03-05FEB2015:
Great crew, and an on-time Frankfurt arrival: that's very good!
Petra drove from her apartment in Schwalbach and picked me up at 1 p.m. Thursday (no arrival nap for me, so we could see something with the sun shining). We headed over the Rhine to Maaraue, the confluence of the Main and Rhine Rivers. We sat conversing by the Main shoreline on a bench until winter winds whipping near-freezing temperatures liked to froze us, then chatted along the riverwalk upstream to an observation tower near the middle bridge of the Mainz “Three Bridges Walk”, a 5-mile 2-hour circuit crossing the Main River once and Rhine River twice. (After the current grueling winter flight schedule ends & our crew arrives again early morning in Frankfurt, I plan to nap – and have daylight remaining to go on this Walk.)
Petra and I continued on our excursion into late afternoon, and she was looking forward to travelling the next day to Berlin to vacation with a friend. It was fun to invite Petra to go eat and to shop at the Domäne Mechthildshausen, an organic farm serving their own ingredients in their own restaurants, plus selling it in their shops.
(At the Domain I bought 2 loaves of bread: triple-rise sourdough, and spelt; on Sunday Joe and I brought these to share, for lunch and for the concert reception.)
Petra dropped me back off at the hotel on her way to stop by Fichteplatz to return the key to the Gerber family children from their parent’s now-vacated apartment.
I learned "a lot". When I got home, Friday night I went to bed and slept a healing 16 hours.
Saturday evening Joe and I went to a lovely Carolina Pro Musica early music concert, the next mid-morning and mid-afternoon to my brother John’s New Life Lutheran Church in New London, where I played flute with the organist. Joe and I ate Sunday lunch with my brother and his family, a super visit – time flying by fast – and we all went to the wonderful Cantamos choral concert, a great reception and fellowship following the standing ovation. Soli Deo Gloria!

Here we are at 103 west, north 40. More dirt roads to get here. We stayed overnight at a Comfort Inn (there were many smelly cattle ranches around).

From VR to the rise of AR, 2016 has seen our virtual and physical worlds collide like never before, with game design leading the way. The November Friday late saw the museum attempt to distort reality across a host of arcades, workshops and playful interventions that welcomed the public into new worlds.
Babak was very smart and went to bed at midnight on the first night of the show. As you can see he is bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready for the final day of the Summit.

Tucked away in a valley in the South Downs are a line of 275kV pylons that run from Shoreham Power Station.
Something of a blot on the landscape and one of the only places that I can think of where the super-grid actually runs over the top of the downs.
Edit: Actually it does elsewhere, mostly in East Hants...
But lots of sheep, for which Fulking is famous for :)

Here I am, on the iMac, dialed into the MacBook Pro via Timbuktu, booting up WinXP via the latest Parallels Beta. Timbuktu is a kind of beefed-up VNC.
So far, I'm pretty impressed with Parallels and WinXP. It is syncing the mouse pointers, ethernet bridge, and pretty much every other setting. It'll even run the HD Encryption imposed on me by Adobe IT.
I'm still getting random Windows errors ("OK Cancel"), but if I just dismiss them as usual, they seem to go away.
