Parallel Parking, 2023 from a new series "Origin Stories" using ancestral and found photos layered with my original photography, placing people, long gone, back into the landscapes they left behind; imperfectly overlaying time and space, past and present.

Parallels Desktop for Mac, Build 3106 Beta 3 running in Coherence Mode.
Coherence mode lets you run windows apps in OSX on top of OSX so their not confined to the VM machine window.
In this screen shot you can see that I'm listing to LaunchCast in Windows XP IE 7 and it looks as if it's running just like any other OSX app.
If you want to try out the build of Parallels I'm using you can download it here, http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/beta_testing/.
I should note that I have a 24" iMac with a second 19" Dell monitor hooked up.

10. Anything [as long as it starts with the first letter of your Flickr username!]
11. One from the gutter
12. Definitely out of place
13. Two textures together
14. A stranger [with glasses]
15. Parallel
16. Shadowplay
17. Not in Newcastle East [Don't step over the red line though]
18. Nothing

Here's a sneak peek of the book we recently finished printing and binding book, entitled, Parallel Cases. Within its 42 pages are letterpress printed images and text of railbiking, printing, and searching out abandoned railroads in Northern California and Oregon this past summer — a constellation of the findings, research, anecdotes, and methods of our project.
The book will accompany our upcoming Parallel Cases Exhibition at Cooper Union on January 29. We have several copies of the 50 book edition for sale. To purchase one, please join us for the exhibition at Cooper Union or contact parallelcases@gmail.com
